The president of the AFA unveiled the new Argentina World Cup 2010 Home Adidas football shirt in an event held today.
The new 10/12 Home shirt shows similarity to the Shirt worn at the World Cup 86 in Mexico.
The designer himself acknowledged that it is a retro design, and took inspiration from the legendary shirt worn by Maradona at the World Cup 86
The shirt will have its debut in the next friendly match against Spain, and will be available through the FSC Shop.
Thanks to Diego and Gonzalo

no matter what shirt those girls have they will be crashed by Greece in South Africa
You can't win!
this is a beauty. will be buying straight away
Expecially the white 3 stripes.
I hope it doesn't have a plain panel on the back for the number
STILL WITH VERON?
This shirt is no different - the thick dark blue outline to the AFA crest is a great touch along with the central white stripe and crew-neck. It reeks of 1986 awesomeness all over again. I can't help thinking that Maradona himself helped design this kit.
I just hope adidas don't bring back the "horrorzontal" striped shorts for Scotland's new kit.
I do wonder that the hologram is a clue to the 2010 adidas match-ball design?
Nice shirt, the "celeste y blanco" colors always match perfectly.
But in africa 2010, the world champion wears the "verdeamarela" colors. Brasil hexacampeão.
WTF??? HES A DirTy PLAYER!
they should be black...
I think bold black adidas stripes will look out of place, especially as the shirt is only two-coloured.
Worn by the USSR and Holland during Euro '88, the design was bold, arrogant and very contemporary.
Brilliant!!!
When you take the three stripes and redesign the 70s classic plain crew-neck or v-neck with the three stripes. If you do that, people won't like it as it is too boring, or people will love it.
quality
ARGENTINA!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
Last season's shirt (which by the way was very similiar to this one) looked great drom the front, but one view of the back told otherwise.
Last seasons kit was spoiled by the sky-blue patch on the back, and I hope that they've figured out by now that black numbering is perfectly visible on white and sky-blue, even from a distance.
Anyway; if the back isn't spoiled by a patch this time I might consider getting this one.
White Adidas stripes are a nice touch, I don't feel shocked by it. Anyway, will Argentina wear white shorts as their young team is doing during the U-17 World Cup in Nigeria ?
@ Gazhorn : just a word on the German kits you've published : wonderful !

That said it's still a decent jersey, nice to see that Adidas are not simply rehashing one or 2 templates for this round of kits.
Maradona > Jesus Christo
My propsal

And the one above?
Hint?
Notice the two thin white strips in the first one!!!
(And yes, it resembles Newcastle 2007, except with the neck collar)
Goodbye cruel world
FACT
Any idea about away kits ...??Argentina always have nice ones
AGUANTE ARGENTINA PERO SIN MARADONA
aunque su seleccion es patetica este diseño y uniforme esta a la altura de los logros de la seleccion argentina.
soi mexicano y nuestra playera es una cagada jajajajajajaja
