AS Roma 10/11 Kappa Kits

Here are the new A.S. Roma shirts for the 2010/11 Serie A season, produced by Kappa.

Roma narrowly missed out on winning the league last season and had to settle with second position but do see a return to Champions League football. That's not the only thing returning to the Stadio Olimpico but it almost appears the same shirt will be there next season also.

The shirt as per last season has a thick orange collar, although it is now round, and also thick rimmed cuffs on the sleeves. Looking more closely at the seams though you can see it has changed and quite a bit from Kappa's normal design.

The away jersey, in white, is much the same design as the home, although the side panels are now a different colour compared to the rest of the shirt, although the away shirt does contain the clubs alternative logo once again. The away shirt also sees a change in the way the Kappa logos are presented on the sleeves, from a row of four to a large singular one on the shoulders.

The third shirt also has the same different coloured side panelling as the away as well as differing colour shoulders. The design of all the shirts are quite obviously based around the design used for the Italian rugby jerseys, except without the ball grip design of the shirt of course. The other black shirt without the orange shoulders in the pictures is the goalkeeper kit.

Looks like it could be another moobs-unfriendly template, like the Chelsea kit from last season...and I'm not keen on the over-zealous Kappa branding either. I respect AS Roma so this isn't some club partisan bashing, I just think these kits are poor, they've had much better in the past.

Home one looks class...., albeit not a fan of the Kappa logos all the way down the sleeves.

White int bad either although little to clustered for my liking......

I like the home, a bit of a retro touch with the repetitive logos down the arms. Also, a clever touch in omitting one of the logos on the right arm to allow for the Serie A/ FIGC/ Champs League patches

If you look at the different Roma templates over the past few years you will be amazed by how different the kits have changed

And what do you want? There's only so much you can do with a solid red shirt with orange trim. You have to remember that the shirt represents a club and a tradition, so you aren't gonna see a crazy different shirt every year.

What to say, well its nothing new really, aside from the stitching on the front of the home shirt, its pretty much last year's kit. A move to Marcon would be interesting or just anyone else aside from Kappa.

black's more slimming, should've been adriano with the away kit. i like the 3rd kit. home kit will always be the same as long as kappa's the manufacturer.

Quality Kits, and the stitching suits Roma perfectly, Im a huge fan of Kappa who despite having the same style shirts since the early 2000s always come out with classy kits for all teams(if its not broken, why fix it?).
Every team in Kappa look the business. Easily the most distinguished kit suppliers in the game.

Its the same crap from kappa every year. poor kappa only have one template and are not creative enough to come with other new templates.

Idiots will waste money buying the same shirts though.

It seems that Kappa doesn't have any creativity... For Roma and other Kappa sponsored clubs, it is the same design every year, they only change the collar form and that's it...

No surprises for the home shirt.
Kappa should start to be a bit more progressive regarding design.
Also, you should not put a superbaby like Adriano in a tight fit kit like this...

I really like the homeshirt and the 2nd shirt.
Thats pure class of design!
The 3rd shirt, with black and orange is a cool new one, but I dont like it like a Kappa-shirt for AS Roma.

I have two AS Roma-shirt till now, one white away from 06/07-a centenary-shirt (1927-2007), and the 3rd shirt from 2001/2002-with orange, marinablue and red.

I like also the three Kappa-logos on the new homeshirt.

you all make fun of adriano, but watch when he sinks your clubs, he's just as good as when he left us and im still a huge fan of him
shame he left but i wish him best of luck with roma, as i have a soft spot for them he couldnt have gone to a better team apart from us in my eyes haha

These kits are made for well built men and that's why they're tight...apparently kappa forgot about Adriano while designing them (if it can be called designing at all because they're pretty much the same)

I love the AS Roma colors (the best colors a club can have), but these Kappa kits seem the same year after year. They should improve in creativity.
I wish AS Roma was sponsored by Adidas and Adidas could give Roma the same kit models they gave to Palmeiras this year. It would be awesome to see those Adidas kits in red, orange and black.
If I were a Kappa designer, Roma's away kit would be in orange shirt and black shorts, and the third kit would be in silver shirt with orange and black shorts and sleeves.
