Absolutely fantastic. The club is officially only Athletic Club.

It goes without saying that Umbro is sheer class. It is fair to say that Umbro designed this kit with great attention to the details.

good work umbro, they dont even feel the need to put their badge on other parts of the shirt, just one badge for the manufacturer (or tailor which fits best)...

adidas and puma shoud rethink putting their 3 bands or pumas on the sides of the shirts, they all look like food in can, standard plant manufactured similar shirts...

lovely shirt, however it is identical to west broms just different colours, they are tailored looking but they are just as generic as adidas and nike they just look a whole lot better

generic good is still good, a shirt doesnt suddenly not look nice because there is a similar one

At least they don't waste a plane on the launch (AC milan)

The Tailored by Umbro line is one of the bests in football history, IMO.

Couldn't agree more. forget nike, adidas and the european line segment of puma (e.g. the kits of newcastle for this season).

Very classical kits kits from umbro. plain, simple, even the sponsors and their (sometimes) awfull logos look good in these kits.

In fairness to Nike, they own Umbro and the brand has put out flawless kits since being taken over. Nike has used the Umbro brand as a sort of authentic/throwback line and it's a perfect idea.

Yeah, Umbro is technically part of Nike, and the Nike branded kits are better IMO anyway.

Look at it this way.
Bilbao are ok and their kit is good
Sunderland are rubbish and their kit is ok

Great kit. I just don't understand why the sponsor is in blue and not black to match the rest of the strip. Clearly they recolored the sponsor to red for the keeper shirts so black on the home sponsor just makes sense.

i'm from bilbao and i completily agree with you. umbro is fantastic. our kit is the best of the lfp, but we don't like the sponsor. we've been for 100 years without it and now real madrid and barcelona obligged us to put it on our kits...(without sponsor - no money - so the two big teams (excuse-me ritch teams) are going to be ritcher than the rest...)
Our colours are red, white and black... so our kit must only wear those colours...

It is what the Sunderland kit looks like! Just a different coller and different coloured socks.

Well they could at least change the neck. Umbro are just doing overpriced (one shirt for all) teamwear with this tailored range. There is no imagination to the designs, even subtle detail like piping would be nice to differentiate the jersey for each club rather than just changing the crest.

Clever though to be able to sell such basic shirts for £40-£50!

maybe i'm too old fashioned when i think about football kits, but it's undeniable that umbro is the only manufacturer who can sum tradition and simplicity in such a beautiful way.compare this shirt with juventus 2nd and you'll get what i mean.it seems like nike and adidas first goal is to define their brand and not to serve the teams they dress.and don't forget umbro has always done a great job also with small clubs, creating unique kits..

Maxwell, Athletic Club is not a poor club. This basque team is one of 3 clubs always in 1a División/La Liga and 4th or 5th in points classification. I think its dimension is at this moment like Everton, West Ham, Aston Villa, etc, but stronger in the past (always with just basque players. The future will be based in an amazing new San Mamés Stadium. Sorry, my english is bad.

I like the Athletic Bilbao color sheme (red and white shirt with black shorts), but i'd like to see some black details in the shirt, to match with the shorts.
I don't know if the blue shirt is from the goalkeeper kit or from the away kit. If it's from the away kit, it is simply awful. The away kit should be in grey or yellow with red and black details.
In spite of what I've said, it's a good Umbro kit. Too traditional for my taste, but a good kit that I would certainly buy if it was my club (not that I dislike Athletic).
