This is gonna take some getting used to. I would be alot better if it didnt have the random white stripe across it. This is a bad indication for future Nike kits

I think each kit provider are in a competition to see who can make the most uninteresting, bland, boring kit. Some retro kits can look nice, but the fact that this kit doesnt have an emblem or anything on it is just disrespectful to the AFA.

I kinda like it. Not sure about the little stripes Nike keeps putting on the sleeves though.

really poor cut it looks like more of the same dri-fit material we have had since the last world cup. not impressive nike bodes poorly for their club sides

I like it. It's definitely a different look for the Aussies than I've seen. I don't mind the white stripe because without it the kit would have looked bad. Definitely unique.

Nice. I've been waiting for ages to get a glimpse of the new Aussie kit. Not at all what I expected but it looks good. It'll be interesting to see what colour socks we have. I think the first world cup we played in we wore white socks and with the white stripe on the shirt I guess it could be a possibility for a comeback. After two very boring shirts I think this is a step in the right direction.

how can some of you honestly think there won't be badges in the final version?

wow Australia has a great jersey for 2010, even thought its just the design but when it gets the logos and numbers its going to look amazing. good work nike

Holy! All those people who hate the "retro" look, just look back at nike at the 2002 world cup. Those kits were so horrid I could barely watch. Sometimes all it takes to make a kit look good is the font for the #. Chill!

That is [censored]ing abhorrent. The Coventry Chocolate strip and the Kingroo Socceroo strip from 1991 BOTH look at it, and say, "GOD DAYYUM! That is one ugly shirt!!!"

The only person this jersey will suit- numbered/lettered or not- is Lawrie Lawrence. That is a Cosby Jersey. I said, a COSBY JERRRRRZZZAY! Minus 3 out of 10.

I really like the new colours - this time with a bit more green.

But really the white horizontal stripe in and the band-aid on the sleeves are a bit excessive. I hope that white stripe could've been more like Melb Victory or Man Utd's 'V' shape design...

I hope they'd still keep with the screen printed badge coz compare that to embroidered ones I think it's neater and more detailed.

And lastly it probably won't happen but I hope they won't charge $130 like the current ones are.

I did a quick knock-up in photoshop, nothing special but gives you a better idea of the final product. Have to say it does look much better withe the emblem and nike logo. I also 'slimmed down' the kit so it didnt look like Scotty McDonalds kit
