Brighton and Hove Albion 10-11 home errea kit

Brighton and Hove Albion unveiled the new 2010/11 home kit made by Errea, which celebrates the last season at withdean.

The team have historically played in blue and white stripes, though this changed to all white briefly in the 1970s (in the Freddie Goodwin era) and again to plain blue during the club's most successful spell in the 1980s.

Thanks to Graeme

Why is there a Spider on the goalie shirts????

Like the Home kit though really nice. And i don't normally like shinny kits.

I can't decide if thats really nice or bloody awful

as for the goalie kits, they're just errea teamwear kits, god knows why they thought a spider was a good idea.

but fair play to errea for not being boring

Nice variation on a theme from errea. At the very least no one can accuse them of having only one or two designs and just changing the colours to suit the club in question, which is one of the biggest criticisms on this site.
I don't think they will be quite that shiny in the flesh, as the light all looks a bit bright.

Presumably there's some kind of fundamental, pervasive link which inextricably binds the otherwise completely detatched worlds of Brighton and Hove Albion and Spiderman, but of which I am completely unaware???

Way too shiny and a brightness and texture than reminds me of the Sandtex / SperSports kit from about 12 years ago. You'd be sweating before you even put it on...

The shininess, the blueness, the Donatello, the spiders. It's like a cartoon kit. Lord knows what the away kit will be like. Pink Panther?

Not bad at all in my opinion... some new shirts with stripes tend to have "one colour" back for some reason...

Errea have made some great kits for the seagulls, and this is not one of them. The fabric is way too shiny (1990s shiny) and the whole kit looks cheap. Another point, the crest on the shorts needs to be lower, it looks stupid that high

Nice retro look, bet it'll please the fans from Brighton's golden era when Smith should have won the cup for them.

Just awful. Please Albion change back to adidas, ready for the new stadium. Also can we go back to the circular badge and not this dreadful, cheap looking shield.

Glad we've moved away from a mainly white kit & gone blue again. My wife says if my lad gets this kit muddy it will be much easier to wash & keep clean rather than the mainly white kit !!!

got to be honest the best part of the kit is the Lextra club crest, the rest is really bad, toooooo much shine and real bad design. I am dissapointed :(

Just to confirm to the comment here about the shirt looking too shiny, cheap, snag easy etc, it does none of those things. The photos don't do the fabric justice, it is a really nice smooth and cool fabric, not at all sweaty or uncomfortable, and nowhere near as shiny as it looks in these images. As for cheap, I can assure you, the fabric is top quality, and the printing of the stripes and badges is top quality too. So far mine has not snagged at all, neither have I seen any do so any more than normal. The Albion badge is produced using the Lextra Print method, hence it is slightly fuzzy, and shiny and three dimensional, quite a few clubs use this process, I think you can get better detail than embroidery, and it is far nicer than just a plain transfer print. .

Seems that Errea will be producing the new kit for the Amex Stadium and that Sir Gus went to Italy to choose the material. Can't wait to see this new kit!
