The Catalan Football Federation has presented the new Home football Kits that the Catalan football team will be wearing in the match against Argentina on 22 December. In addition, it has signed a kit deal with the sports brand Astore for the next four years.
The presentation of the ‘Trofeu Catalunya Internacional’ (Trophy Catalonia International) shirt was formalized in the Exhibition Hall for the Promotion of Arts and Design (FAD). The ‘Trofeu Catalunya Internacional’ was also unveiled by the Catalan Football Federation.
On 2 November 2009, it was announced that Dutch legend and former Barcelona manager Johan Cruyff will be the new coach of Catalonia.
Catalonia is not affiliated to either FIFA or UEFA and the team does not participate in either the FIFA World Cup or the European Championship. Instead, Catalonians are full Spanish citizens and eligible to play for Spain, with several such as Carles Puyol becoming star players for the Spanish team. Catalonia has tried to join UEFA, citing Scotland and Wales as similar national sides with UEFA membership, but has always been rejected.
On Tuesday, 22nd December 2009, Catalonia will play a friendly against Argentina.

nothing against astore here! I really like the ideas on the kit, and they probably do have a say on that. but if it was a nike, adidas, puma kit, with those ideas, it'd be awesome...
the only risk with the bigger branding would be falling into the repetitive templates that are used by puma on every kit, without much individuality...
*not a compliment
catalonia used to be with Puma so I guess one dumped the other for some reason. Bear in mind also that Catalonia are almost a political group( well they are!) so having the same sponcers as Spain would never be!
Afraidly the national team will have to wait till the yellow and red stripes one.
Carlito, you must be pretty Spanish!
you are incredibly stupid.
Kit is ok not a fan of the colar though
