Celtic away 10-11 nike shirt

This seems to be the new Celtic 10/11 away football shirt made by Nike.

This is a leaked picture, so we have to wait for the official launch to be sure.

Wow, that is one ugly top. I'm a Celtic man myself but I can't praise this mess. Awful, awful shirt. Even Rangers home shirt is better than this. Massive fail Nike, it's a stinker.

As for the top, it's lovely. I like it and I think it's very nice with a retro touch.

Yeah it is but if you look closely this one says 1888. If I'm not mistaken PSG says 1970. In both cases references to the year each club was founded.

Indeed, though I believe the PSG one says "PSG1970", not just "1970", and uses a bigger font. PSG uses the pattern for the whole shirt, whereas it looks like the sleeves are solid on this Celtic one. The PSG one is supposed to be a 40th anniversary (1970-2010), but I don't get the connection between 1888 and 2010 (122 yrs?)

I'm Not too 'up' on my Scottish football but i presume that a 3rd kit will be marketed (if there isn't one already) for the games against Hibernian......

Now I love the Sellik. But this shirt is rancid. The 1983-86 lime green original was bad enough but this takes it to a new level with the stupid sponsor ruining it!

I think Nike's Celtic away kits in recent years have been very poor. Come back Umbro, all is forgiven...

The theory is that UEFA demand completely different kits between teams so Celtic can bring out a third that will probably be black considering the training kit is yellow.

I believe (I might be wrong) that UEFA demand that teams involved European competitions have a third kit. As my beloved Everton haven't qualified for Europe and are unlikely to be meeting Palermo in the near future, the only reason I can think of to justify us bringing out a 3rd kit this season would be as an apology for the away kit.

I'm hoping that we keep the purple charity one that we had last season. Only using it once, for a league cup game for which we were only able to field a 3rd team due to the height of our injury problems, was a real disappointment. Surely it would be better for the Liverpool Unites charity to gain some prolonged exposure. Sorry for posting this on another team's page
