Cheltenham Town 10-11 errea home kit

Cheltenham Town's brand new Errea home kit and club shield have been revealed this morning. The kit design is a return to red and white stripes after two seasons of an all red kit.

Robins midfielder Michael Pook is pictured here wearing the new shirt and giving a sneak preview of the brand new shield design that will form a big part of the club's new identity.

The new shield has been designed by local company FLB and will be rapidly phased in to replace the old town crest over the next few days. New kit is already in the shop, the club stationery is ready to use and the club website headers will be changed on Monday.

The new kit will be on sale in the club shop and will be worn by the players in today's final home game of the season against Accrington Stanley.

This is what errea usually does. Terrible kit.

Not a big fan of the new badge, but I understand that the club want to move forward with a new identity by removing the old town crest. To be honest I think the kit design is decent, but Erreà's material quality is certainly there.

Horrible collar, terrible treatment of the stripes, rubbish new crest & the most massive shorts I think I've ever seen. Not good.

As "messed about with stripes" shirts go, that's actually pretty nice

Actually this is a lot better than what Cheltenham usually get. It's true that it's not as nice as the Northampton shirt, but it's certainly an improvement for the Robins.

I really like this shirt and it is certainly not a copy of last year's or a standard template, which would define about 90% of the shirts that we have seen on here in the last month.
I know what people mean about the new badge though, i am definately a bit of a traditionalist.

Why the broken stripes?

The kit looks great apart from that.
