it does look like a nasal strip. its ok i would have prefered chicago fire sc going back to puma but what on earth is that black thing on the collar that looks like the strings that go on hoodies??

"Money is the bottom line" is right. Considering that most of the teams don't even make yearly profits just yet, the league as a whole needs more sources of income to keep those teams afloat. At least until they can establish themselves.

As for the new jersey, it looks pretty cool, but I like last season's kit a bit more. Perhaps it is the lighting but it really does look like the front has two tones of red. The stripe across the chest is just weird.

Can't tell what the writing is, but I think the trim is navy blue. The Fire's change kit will be all white (no stripe across the front for the first time in quite a while) with navy blue trim.

It seems that the front panel is a different material, which might reflect the light a bit differently in that photo.

The Fire held a kit unveiling yesterday with Brian McBride wearing the primary all-red kit. It looked like one consistent shade of red in those photos.

I'm not one 100% sure, but it could be mesh sort of like what Japan had for their 2002 kit. That made the front look like an odd colour.

Oh no, that's the last shirt I see from this Adidas-MLS collection, and that's the most awful.
Chicago Fire could intend lawsuits against Adidas, even more while looking at the other shirts which are all really nice.

This shirt looks pretty weird...
I dislike the nose strip across the chest, and the two tones of red don't work (though I think that it could just be a different material that reflects light in an other way, but the shades of red might look the same in a different lighting).
Reading the comments above mine; it seems that I'm not the only one who think about the shirt in this way.
