coventry city 10-11 puma kits

Coventry City unveiled the new home, away and goalkeeper shirts for the 10/11 season.

The shirts, supplied by sportswear giant PUMA, are set to go on sale immediately afterwards on a pre-order basis from the club's shop at the Ricoh Arena and its City Central store, in the Lower Precinct and online, with the shirts arriving in late June.

The kit will also feature the branding from premium express delivery company City Link, which is the club's main sponsor.

Justin Tose, CCFC Head of Retail, said: "The new shirts are certainly eye-catching designs and we think supporters will love them when they get their chance to see them at the final game against Watford.

"Fans have been asking me for some time now what the new kits are going to be like and are eager to see them. This will be the first chance to see them and I am sure they will go down very well.

"To celebrate the launch fans can take advantage of a £5 discount on all children's and adults' shirts from May 2 until September 30."

Adult shirts will be priced at £34.99 and children at £24.99 until that September 30 deadline.

The club is also offering supporters the chance to save money if they buy both the home and away shirts before July 31. Adults can buy both shirts for £59.98 and for juniors it is £44.98.

Thanks to Stuart

dont like the badge in that horrible shield shape. the sponsor on the home should be in white. i understand green and yellow are citylinks corporate colours but it just doesnt work with the sky blue.

Totally what i was thinking, i was saddened when i first heard the news that Newcastle signed with Puma and looking that the recents posts of new kits from teams who are signed with Puma,..im so worried for Newcastle fans. All that we could do i guess is just hope that its something really, really lovely. It has to impress after taken over Adidas's 16 year reign.

There is something strange going on around the neck and shoulders of the away shirt, it looks bunched up; that is terrible.

I don't like the home kit very much at all, what's up with the collar and those white lines just placed on the shirt? Don't even get me started about how the badge looks smaller than it should be and seems to be surrounded by some sort of shield!

However, I do like the away kit a lot more. I know it's green, but hey, it's got stripes and looks sleeker. If I had to choose, I'd prefer the away kit everytime.

Also, I've never seen goalkeeping kits like those before. Did someone smoke something before they were created?

As per usual, the kit suppliers are not in touch with the supporters.

1. Why put an outline around the CCFC badge? The Coventry City crest is quality in its own right and should have just been made a little bigger without the outline.

2. Stripes are always introduced at some point into Coventry shirts but never across the shirt. Simple answer, don't bother. When sky blue was introduced it was just that, all sky blue and no stripes.

3. Yet again there is this confusion about what colour the away kit should be. Make your mind up. Yes black and green stripes have been used in the past, but also yellow, red, black, brown and even purple!

4. When I first heard about City Link being the sponsor I hoped they would either put the sponsor in navy blue (preferred) or white because it was obvious the corporate colours would look cr*p - and they do!

5. The goalkeepers shirts - well the less said the better - garbage.

6. Make sure there is a pair of sky blue shorts available again this year cus if we play a team with white shorts will end up wearing those black shorts with green trim.

7. Jos Mourinho as the next manager please, cheers.

Not keen on home shirt or Puma's new neckline design. They should go back to the verticle blue and white stripes. Away one isn't too shoddy

Coventry always used to have green away kits in the late 60s, early 70s. They brought it back in the mid 90s. Have you not been watching them long?

Love the away kit, going back to the 90s Pony one.
Home shirt very simplistic again, but they tried to 'jazz it up' with a dodgy colour. And i'd rather have vertical stripes, bit unsure about that one.
And everyone loves a hideous goalkeeper kit!

Not Massive fan of home kit, But bloody love the away kit I've been waiting for a green and black stripes to come back. Plus looking at pictures from our friendly games the away kit look Pro!... Wouldn't mind wearing it as our main kit might make us look a bit more serious. Don't really care about goalie kits, all I care is that Westwood is the one wearing it!

the green/yellow combo for the sponsor's logo is a total mismatch with the home shirt......

Plus, I really dislike the logo of Coventry FC got "confined" into a frame style...

In short, as a collector who loves the Coventry FC's logo, I will wait for the next kits.
