croatia 10-12 nike home shirt design

This is the new Croatia 10/12 Home football shirt design made by Nike, which will be available through the FSC Shop after the official launch.

Legal people at Nike have registered photos of all national team shirts sponsored by Nike as a ‘registered design’ at the European Design Office.

Intellectual property specialist Diederik Stols explains: “It is logical that sports companies around the world register just about anything in an attempt to monopolize the market for national shirts. Nike did just that. But they should better have registered the designs one day before the official presentation, because the designs are now publicly accessible via the Internet. This time around, Nike has leaked its own shirts”.

Is it just me, or is this checkerboard overload? I like the normal checkers, but the checkers within the red boxes is a bit too much.

As a Croat, I think Nike needs more imagination.

Checkers inside checkers?

Look at it too long and get lost in an infinite loop!

They could have done much better.........

There's probably only so much you can do with checks. From a distance you won't even notice the checks within the checks. Not bad. Band-aids on the sleeves still look crap though.

And you're lucky they haven't done the same with the white checkers.

super shirt! I'm romanian, but i always appreciate croatian jersey. it's different, special, traditional. Romanian change the jersey colour from yellow in red after sponsor asking.

Read this. maybe you will get a clue. This "tablecloth for pubs" is our identity, tradition and history. It seems like you didn't spend enough time studying, probably you was to busy with checking tablecloths in every bloody pub. In opposite case, you would know this..

The best Nike design of their world cup line so far, although its hard to go wrong with a country that has had the same jersey design for as long as I can remember

Ugly, too intensive, unimaginative, there is no football subtlety or elegance
seriously, it only misses sparkles to be a figure skating uniform

Wasn't the chessboard theme stolen from this season's Umbro template?

And wasn't that originally stolen from Scoreline?

No, you see, although it is (chessboard template on shirt) not first time used on Croatian national shirt, chessboard on Croatian national sport shirts actually has undoubtedly "deepest meaning" and biggest historical background of all chessboard-alike sport shirts. It is much more than pure fashion template, it is basic Croatian identity. Therefore, I don't consider it just the most unique and most aye-catching sport shirt in general, but also the most symbolic one. Yes, all national shirts are in the national colors and all of them has its small coat of arms on the chest, but Croatian shirt IS Coat of arms of Croatia, i.e. national symbol. You can like it or not, and people in Nike can make it more or less elegant etc., but as long as it has Croatian red-white chessboard on it, it is holy for Croats. That's why it's not important who did first time wear chessboard on his/her shirt. Because this one is so different and sooo much special!

@gleefuljason - chessboard is a croatian traditional coat of arms so no, it's not stolen from Umbro template, from Scoreline
or whatever.

Wtf is this?!

I m really laughing about this jersey and players who will wearing them in future.....
The most recognizable jersey can be only England jersey....
Croats can remember english jerseys at Maksumaran Stadium and goals from Theo Walcott.....
