The single decent way to wear this outfit is to let the shirt out, coming over that buckle hiding it(because it's a big puma fail).

The shirt is clean, safe or boring even but all the new Puma Boxing style shorts are awful.

The collar does look a tad off.

I noticed in the pics that the shirt is untucked. We'll probably see a lot of that...

Shortly after the photo shoot Rosicky was carried off injured with a serious neck ache due to the very strange design of the collar. Later on Arsene Wenger called for a ban on all international photo shoots are they were deemed to be unfarily targetting his players in and overly aggressive manner

boxing shorts are rediculous. might as well put on a champions belot to go with it. and what's up with the colar design? more thought went into that than the actual kit.

it's interesting to see Puma spend a thought on the waist. a majority of players these days don't bother to tuck-in their shirts. interested to see how that one went over in the board-room/presentation. when you watch UMBRO videos of the "tailored in england" inspired kit deisgn, it appears the creators are more interested in process and not substance. one is a means, not to an end...apparently.

This boring layout got nice with czech colours. The boxing shorts are ridiculous as ever.
This is better than Italy, Switzerland, Uruguay, Austria and Bulgaria ones after all.

So what's it to be? A Blue Puma on the shorts as per the Rosicky's photo? Or a red Puma as per the other shorts photo?

Well, I just wrote this comment yesterday on the Switzerland new shirt:
--------------------------------
The problem with Puma is that their templates are EXACTLY the same (Adidas makes some small changes -Mexico, South Africa, Spain). This is exactly the same shirt that Austria will be wearing. The same!, only the FA Badges change and the detail of the big cross in the centre of the shirt. Also Austria shirt sleeves have a detail in black, while this one have it in white. I 'm sure that Czech Republic will also use this same template but that "detail" in blue.

Agree, the problem is that these 3 teams wear RED shirts. So they all look exactly the same.

Puma is really getting on my nerves with this template.
I wonder who came up with the boxing shorts idea and I really wonder whoever approved it.
The shirts' template doesn't even flow, it looks like something that you'll get when you're just trying to draw some shapes with the polygonal lasso tool.
The star collar still looks really weird, but I suppose that I can get used to it.
The most exciting thing about this kit are the socks
When it's worn the shirt doesn't look that bad though...

These jersey's are terrible. Puma African Cup kits were so good, why did they suddenly get rid of them and go back to this sh*t. Idiots!

This reminds me of their Olympic hockey jersey. Solid shirt, but I hate this whole "flag as a faux belt buckle" fad.

What is it with Puma and changing team's kits, first giving Italy blue shorts, now giving the Czechs red socks, it's supposed to be red-white-blue???

The kit itself is a shocker, as with all the new Puma kits (except the ones they did for African teams).

Not only Puma is changing colours. Adidas changed Spain socks (black to blue and now to red). Mexico socks (green to red and now to white), Argentina (black to white, then to black and now again to white).......

Although I'm not sure that the brands have the authority to change colours. I think they can make some suggestions but the national federations have the finel word about it.

Czech's last home kit (08-09 season) was all red, hit blue details on the shirt and white ones on the socks.

It seems like Puma are using the same collor on all of their shirts this time around, so atleast I know which sort of collor the new Newcastle will have. It's nice Puma are moving away from the cape patterns etc they have, and I was startng to think that they had stopped using the Puma logo on the sleeves after seeing this and the new Sheff Wed away shirt, but it looks like the little guy crpet in there.
