Adidas unveiled the new 10/12 Denmark home kit at the Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen. The Danish National Team will use their new kit - which will be available through the FSC Shop – this Saturday against South Korea in Esbjerg and also at the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa next summer.

The design of the new team jersey is a tribute to past football heroes and great achievements, and the inspiration is taken from the flag of Denmark, the Dannebrog.

The 11 dotted lines across the chest, are a tribute to the collective of the national team and 11 players who are on the pitch for the Danish Dynamite.

Mikkel Christensen, Country Manager for Adidas said:

"We are very proud of the new team jersey that we have developed together with DBU.  Both parties are focused on bringing inspiration from past football heroes and magic football moments to the next generation of international players. The 11 lines are a clear proof of this, and above and in front of the football players pounding hearts, sit DBU's traditional logo. "

The New Denmark 10/12 Kits by Adidas will be available through the FSC shop soon.

Thanks To Rasmus

well, I was really expecting some great techfit kit for Denmark...

so, at the same time I'm disappointed because it doesn't look as good, I'm happy to see a new template...

Germany and France have worn the Adidas logo on their sleeves for Euro 2008 warm-up friendlies but not the finals - where obviously they have the tournament patch

Co-sign on this being the best adidas WC kit so for. I really like how they mixed the new collar and lined pattern in the front with the more classic look of past jerseys. My only beef is the same as with the others in that I don't like when they interupt the lines on the sleeve with that crappy, puffy patch. I don't know what to call it.

New Denmark kit is OK, nowhere near as nice as the Russian or Japanese kits, but, yeah, not bad.

Not sure what to make of the new Spain one, the shorts could/should have been in a darker blue with black socks - just like the Spain kits of old I think. Not bad either. I would love to see what the Techfit equivalent will look like as this is the replica they are modelling.

As for all the new Adidas kits there is a huge difference from picture to picture. On the painting (with Leon Andreasen, Hannover 96) it looks, do I dare...I do...almost awesome. But on the pics from the presentation it looks kind of...not good.

All in all a descent shirt, but i would L-O-V-E to see our national team back i Hummel! That was classy. Just watch these shirts:

and

That's how the national team should look1

btw. anyone knows when all the away shirts will be revealed

Like the Danish kit. The collar is a nice thouch. Spain's shorts could only be brighter if they made it a neon sign, doesn't look right with red. The top is good though. Feel sorry for Iker Casillas, why should the world's best keeper be forced to wear something so ugly.

Now this new Danish shirt I like. I admit to being an Adidas retros.e.x.ual. and yearn for the past glories of great adidas kits of yesteryear. So at first all this tech fit bollox was seriously messing with my emotions. But paradoxically I'm actually a progressive modernist and am obsessed with new experimental music, so me wanting every team at the world cup to be wearing copies of the one's from 1982 is ridiculous. I have seen the light. Respect to you Gazhorn man

In saying that the Spain one looks crap. I'm not being stuborn or anything, it just looks crap. Would've thought they'd put more effort into Spain's considering what a great team they've got..

hey Nicholas, it's said Nicolas Sarkozy, not Nicholas even if in France we like using the short name of "Sarko"

Otherwise,I like these umpteen white lines amid the shirt, and I am happy for Denmark because if they qualified in a group including Portugal and Sweden it was because they deserved it
