RCD Espanyol 10/11 Li-Ning Pre-Season Home Shirt

Here is the new RCD Espanyol limited edition home shirt for the 2010/11 pre-season produced by Chinese manufacturer Li-Ning.

Earlier this week we showed you the new Málaga kits, which are the first kits made by Li-Ning for a team outside of Asia. Now Li-Ning has released their second in the form of Barcelona based side, Espanyol.

This shirt is not to be mistaken for the kit they will use during the actual season, as this will be released at a later date. This shirt is limited edition and only 1900 will be sold to the public, 1900 is also the year in which Espanyol was established and this is what the shirt is said to celebrate.

It is white and blue halves with the sponsor 'interapuestas.com' placed in the centre of the shirt. Around on the back of the shirt are the words 'SOM RCDE' which translates from Catalan as 'We RCDE or Espanyol'. All levels of Espanyol will play in this shirt during friendly matches before the official presentation, including the first team in the 'Torneig Ciutat de Barcelona', an annual competition organized by Espanyol who invites a team to compete against themselves in support of the City of Barcelona.

Thanks to Sulraug

There is a reason why small and unknown kit manufacturers are small and unknown.

Li-ning is actually not small at all... it is the biggest domestic sports brand in China and that's the country with the biggest internal market.

please remember that adidas, nike, puma etc all started out like this.

Back on topic, I think the shirt designs are quite good, althuogh they are spoilt by so much branding - form the sponsors and li ning logo - I think these designs by li ning, macron et al are better than adidas and puma who just churn out unoriginal templates.

The companies that make fake kits have expanded into making real kits... I wonder if they'll make fake kits of their own real kits?

i think u'll find that most of these "small" asian companies actually make most of the material for adidas, puma and nike anyway, just with different patterns. maybe they have decided to challenge the big boys at their own game rather than sell on their product.

i agree that adidas make some desperately poor kits nowadays. no originality. puma are better this year but not great and nike have some good shirts new inter and celtic are class.

Great Tshirt!!
if you 've been China, you would know how great is the country. I believe, in a few years, you guys would see Li-Ning brand would be world top 5 sports brand. and after 20 years, it may take the place of Nike.
