Everton 10/11 Le Coq Sportif Away Shirt

Here is the 2010/11 Everton away kit made by Le Coq Sportif.

We showed you this leaked picture of the Everton a couple of weeks ago and now we can confirm thanks to a release by Everton Football Club that this is the real deal.

The shirt is the second Everton away strip made by Le Coq Sportif and see's a return of a pink shirt. Last time Everton wore a pink shirt, except the special pink shirts made by Umbro to raise money for breast cancer awareness, was the 2001/02 season and considered more a salmon pink colour, which was a third shirt also.

The strip was launched early this morning at Everton's Everton One store by midfielder Leon Osman. The colours of the kit are described as lightning pin and navy blue, a combination which was designed to make players more visible in their peripheral vision.

The 2010/11 shirt has been designed by Le Coq Sportif and uses the latest technology to keep perspiration away from the body, ensuring the players stay cooler during games.  The design also features enhanced air circulation, for added comfort and durability.

As well as harnessing the latest scientific advances, the new kit also draws inspiration from Everton’s illustrious history, when Everton wore pink in the late nineteenth century.

you've got to be censoreding kidding me. it doesn't look like we're getting a new home kit either, i'll be listening to all the matches on the radio. how long do we have le coq for?

Its no wonder why there are only 5 teams in the world that use le coq, cause they ruin kits.

We do actually have a new home kit for the 10/11 season. I asked one of the staff at Everton Two and she said that its coming out on July 15th.

Real men wear pink without embarassment.
The alternative pink shorts is taking things too far. When will they ever need to wear those? League rules normally state that the shirts and socks mustn't clash so the pink shorts must be a special item for Evertonians to wear in the privacy of their homes

Brave, but I just don't think that's going to work - I can't see any men wearing that in the street.

usually i dont mind a little pink trimming, or even a pink shirt that has a similar shade to the palermo shirt, but this is taking it a little far. the colour can only really be described as 'highlighter pink' a bit too much. i like he goalie shirt though

Do you suppose, based on this template, that the new home shirt will be nod to another past Le Coq Sportif Everton shirt, the 85/86 shirt?

Haahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

LCS make terrible, terrible kits of terrible, terrible quality.

Simply awful.

Do LCS know they CAN make an Everton away kit that doesn't feature pink or purple.

I like it.
It's bold and different, instead of being just another boring white or red awy kit. It takes balls to wear this shirt in public, wich I think is kind of cool.

And it's a h*** of a lot cooler than Liverpools hideous yellow away kit.
(And I say this as a Liverpool sympathizer)

Don't get it - why when bright colours are used are teams going all NEON? Yellows, Greens. Pinks, Oranges..

Pastel colours are needed!!

Norwich's lemony yellow, mint greens not bright greens, proper orange - not High Viz orange, Palermo pink.. not.. Everton Pink!

That said, didn't you Everton lads used to have a kind of Pink & Grey effort once, that weren't too bad

Can only asume the thumbs down here is from a NEON fan! I didn't say it was that bad - but that the bright colours are not as good as the old ones

The pink kit is fantastic and it's for a good cause, too. The 'keeper shirt looks like an advert for Cadbury's Cream Eggs, but it's a nice kit.

Not bothered about the colour - Palermo have been wearing pink shirts for 100 years and no-one in Italy doubts they could beat you senseless. Shame about some of the comments here - Any bloke who thinks wearing a particular colour indicates you must be gay has severe problems.

What is with Lecoq making such unbelievably shit-tastic kits for Everton. I feel so, so sorry for their fans.

At least the keeper kit's actually pretty nice...

I'm sorry but that shirt is hideous. The pink is way too bright. It looks like the sort of thing chavs wear with their adidas traksuit bottoms and fitted Nike hat, i.e. the pink Nickelson polo shirts when they were all the rage.

Horrible!

Doesn't anyone here take into account why it is pink??? It is more than just a colour. The first time everton players lifted the F.A. cup they were wearing PINK jerseys. We should wear the kit with pride, instead of moaning that it is not 'manly' enough for you. Whats more manly than all evertonians supporting the team together, in a shirt with a historic meaning.
