Everton's new third kit celebrates their rich heritage of iconic strips.
Taking inspiration from classic strips worn throughout the Club’s illustrious history, the new strip incorporates a collared shirt and hooped socks, echoing the style that was proudly worn during the era of Everton legends Dixie Dean, TG Jones and Ted Sagar.
The theme of the campaign is ‘Devotion’ - to depict the one constant throughout Everton’s 132-year history – the fans.
The new offering will give the devoted faithful a strip to celebrate with navy shorts are teamed with a stylish vanilla top to create a classic look, with a modern twist.
Defender Leighton Baines has already seen the kit and is very impressed.
“I think the new kit is really classy – I like it," he declared. "The retro look is great and I think the fans will really like it too.”
The third kit will be available to pre-order online now. It will be available to buy in Everton One, Everton Two and online from 30 September.
The Toffees will wear the new kit for the first time in the away match against Chelsea on 4 December.

But seeing that the new Everton third kit is SO MUCH BETTER than the Everton away kit, the next time we have to wear our hideous away kit, I hope David Moyes does the exact same thing that Sir Alex Ferguson did when Man United had a hideous away kit 15 years ago and forces the team to change kits at half time!
Please don't give Tottenham ideas, I can image them launching a first half kit and a second half kit next season, to go with the league and cup kits.
Sadly I have - & my eyes are still burning! I don't understand how LCS & EFC came up with such a terrible away kit - yet such a nice 3rd kit. I hope EFC use this more than the pink one.....
you being serious its a plain white polo shirt with badges, its not awful but no were near the best in the league
Only downside to the kit is the clubs badge. The Everton badge is one of the best in English football, but why does it need the date of foundation next to it, and the "EVERTON" script underneath? Surely anybody who follows English football knows who the shirt is of, without those two features?
It would IMHO be much better if it was just the club crest on the shirt front, and on the inside an inscription stating "Everton since 1878" on the inside of the collar. Just seems that the Everton script does not add to the crest, it detracts from it - Less is more.
It looks nothing like the england kit you censored
It does look like the previous england shirt
I can't think of a club that plays in Pink and Royal so this is clearly just an admission that they got it horribly wrong with the Away kit!
The same happened with United after the grey kit debacle - they quickly rushed out an all white "Third Kit"
Palace away in the Cup ??
Dagenham away in the Cup ??
It's possible.
No they didn't. The gray kit was worn in all but one match that it was supposed to be worn in 1995/96. They probably would have worn it at Middlesbrough on the last day of the season if not for the Southampton debacle, but instead they wore the blue and white 1994-96 third kit.
The white kit was a replacement for the gray away that came out the following summer and was used for the 1996-97 season. You got a £10 discount on it if you took in your old gray shirt as proof of purchase, too.
Just because it's got a collar it has to be a rip-off of an England collar? Never heard so much crap in my life. Collar's were around before England's kit you know.
Absolutely brilliant! Easily the best away PL kit by a country mile!
Yes, sort of agree now you've said it
- Apart from the fact it has "Everton" on the front.
- Apart from the fact it has a sponsor.
- Apart from the fact it has a collar.
- Apart from the fact it is cream.
- Apart from the fact it is made by Le coq Sportif.
Yeah it sure does, it's uncanny!
Fool! :)
and yes, I really like the pink kit too. what's wrong with you guys, pink is cool!!
Pink on a football shirt is like make-up on a girls face. A little bit is okay but too much makes me wanna puke.
censored.
"The theme of the campaign is ‘Devotion’ - to depict the one constant throughout Everton’s 132-year history – the fans" - Do people still fall for this guff? Do the kit suppliers think it's gonna make someone buy the shirt?
Why would any football fan think it's a Chang t-shirt? Sponsor logos aren't a new thing by the way, they've been around since the late 70s.
Without these "stupidly large sponsors", your teams wouldn't be able to field the players you crave to see.
On a positive note, this is a class shirt, I love the colour too.
Most people would think this a Chang t-shirt rather than an Everton shirt, look at the size of the EFC badge compared to the sponsor logo. And if a shirt is recognisable by its sponsor before anything else then that's quite sad.
The sponsor logo is far too big and turns the wearer into a walking billboard. If you're happy being a walking billboard that's up to you, pay your £45 and advertise Thai beer.
If they were sincere about this shirt evoking the club's history in some way, they would've left the sponsor off, simple as that.
But when exactly will they wear it? All the teams that would clasg with their home kit, would surely clash with this as well beacuse it has navy blue shorts?? And the pink away doesn't clash with anyone so they will never be a need to wear this??
It's a good point. I recently went on the Eintracht Frankfurt website and they offer fans the choice of whether to have the sponsor on the shirt or not. Whether as a result they get less money from theior sponsors, I'm not sure - I'd imagine so. But I wish it was possible here.
Excellent kit by the way, best in the Premier league.
It's super-picky, but I'm not a fan of the Le Coq logo on the socks - you can see how it gets distorted when it's stretched out.
cahill and artie are great players btw.
Seriously though, I'm convinced this is finally going to be your year (I know you've been saying that for the last two decades but you know what they say: 21st time lucky!)
P.S. I hope you enjoyed my lovely hat-trick on Sunday.
