FC Sochaux-Montbéliard 10/11 Lotto Home Kit

This is the new kit of FC Sochaux-Montbéliard made by Lotto for the 2010/11 season.

Like Lens, Sochaux have also opted to release their new kit on the last day of the French season and also like Lens they have launched a new yellow shirt as is traditional for them to use at home.

Sochaux who are owned by French car manufacturer Peugeot also originally from the town, have also seen the club logo undergo a facelift containing the newest rendition of the car makers logo. More Peugeot insignias can be found on the rest of the shirt such as the 200 logo on the sleeve representing Peugeot's 200 year history. Also the more obvious Peugeot logo can be found front and center of the shirt.

The shirt was officially launched in a 2-1 home defeat to Auxerre this evening.

Some French and a lot of the other European teams seem to over do their sponsors... but this one looks ok even though overdone, they got away with it hahaha

Usually I hate kits with a lot of sponsors, but this one looks quite nice. I can't wait to see Charlie Davies back to full fitness in this kit next season.

Because the club was founded by Peugeot in 1928, so the connection has remained strong between the company and FC Sochaux ever since.

actually the club still is owned 25% by peugeot and most of the fans are factory workers from the region.

the lines coming in off the sides make it look like an old lotto template- looks a lot like one ukraine had in 06. There's no need for that many sponsors, but it doesn't look too bad, especially as you have to take into account the massive lotto badges on the sleeves that they insist upon.
