feyenoord 10-11 puma football kits

Puma and Feyenoord have unveiled the new home and away kits for the 2010/2011 season.

Ron Vlaar, Andre Bahia and Leroy Fer presented the new uniforms on a catwalk in the Maasgebouw. It was one of the highlights during an evening with many other activities for the loyal supporters.

The kits are part of the PUMA POWER collection. The shorts are inspired by both football and boxing and have a wide waist, like boxing shorts.

The Puma sponsored national teams of Italy, Switzerland and Uruguay will have a similar collection of kits for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

Squadra Azzura is going to have boxing-belt-shorts companions!

The Feyenoord away kit is ok.

That away kit is pointless, they definitely need a third kit. Remember that awful kit clash at Ajax a few years back?

Quoting MisterBlue-1:

Since that post I made they must have updated it to show the current third kit which is being retained. Just as well really because the yellow kit will get more use than the white one!

I guess the belt-style shorts reflect the retroness of kit designs nowadays, but it is just completely pointless.

Puma kits this year have just been absolute cack. Massive thumbs down to Puma, although there was nothing wrong with the African kits, they were awesome.

The kits are pretty cool, but the star collars and boxing shorts are getting annoying.
It's good to see a more traditional home kit again.
The away kit was totally unexpected; I kind of hoped that it would have some green in it, but it certainly isn't bad in this way.

the cut/template of the white shirt is really good! especially the collar!
but the shorts shouldn't have this "belt-buckle" looks more than strange...

p.s.

i wish puma could stop putting the "cat" on the sleeves. it makes the kit look poor... even the adidas-stripes and kappa-logos on the sleeves are ugly.

do it like nike/umbro: one logo on the front, thats it!!!

This has got to win the award for the earliest ever release of a new kit.

I do like the new away shirt because its something totaly new en we at Feyenoord haven't had something like this before. But the belt is just Ugly !

puma promised that the shirts would link to the historie of footbal but those belts have absolutly nothing to do with Footbal
