france world cup 2010 home shirt

This seems to be the new France 2010 football shirt made by Adidas, The French National team will use this shirt at the World Cup 2010 if they manage to beat the Republic of Ireland in the play-offs next month. The new France football shirt will be available through the FSC shop.

This probably will be the last France home shirt made by Adidas under their current contract, as the  French football federation signed a kit deal with Nike in 2008 which starts in 2011.

 Thanks to Luis.

If that is the new French shirt, then well done adidas, using the classic 1984 and 1998 design and updating it for 2010.

Quite excellent - I would love to see what they have done with Scotland's new kit!

ce n'est pas parce que le nouveau maillot reprend le style de 1984 et celui de 1998 que la France se qualifiera et gagnera la coupe!!!....

The choice of the reinterpretatio n of the '84 and '98 template is the right celebration of a historical kit deal, that I will miss very very much.

The reason everyone loves the 84 one is because it was new and like nothing they'd had before (maybe the Euro Champs win helped a little). These kits are so predictable.

Addidas French kits have in my opinion always been the most classic in all world football (including their current qualifying kit). I know the picture doesn't help but essentially the design looks crap. They haven't took legendary designs from the past and made them present (they did that in 98 and it worked). They've took classic designs from the past and made them 1994 North Warwickshire Borough Council badminton team. I also dread what Nike are going to do. I really think England are gonna look the [censored] this world cup with their kit compared to others I've seen (Spain, Germany and now France).

Adidas France football kits have in my opinion always been the most beautiful in world football. However this new kit makes me billius. They haven't taken a great historical classic design and made it current (which they did so well in 1998). They've taken a historical classic design and made it 1994 North Warwickshire Borough Council Badminton team. I dread to think what Nike will come up with. I genuinely think England will look the dogs [censored] at the world cup in their stylish kit. Especially from what I've seen from Adidas so far (Spain, Gerrmany, France). I never thought I'd hear the day when I'd say I'm glad Engalnd have got Umbro!

Just having a nice meal I made (pork belly) in my bedsit with Thomas Dolby (hyperactive). He said he likes mid nineties overly designed kits. His favourite kit of all time is the Mexico one from 1998. He also said that he'd be up for doing the England world cup song.

PEACE & LOVE FOR FOOTBALL

I must say, looking at that shirt, considering this will be last shirt made by Adidas before it must say goodbye to their partnership, the design is a wonderful way to go out, to celebrate the greatest honors of French football (Euro '84 and World Cup '98) that they and Adidas enjoyed together. Money is one thing, but it will be hard to break away from tradition, I am already shuddering at the possible designs Nike will make for their shirts when their deal begins (and this is coming from a man who owns plenty of Nike stuff in the form of practice and workout gear, and several pairs of sneakers.)

I just hope Adidas and the FFF could see to their senses and hopefully get back together again once the Nike arrangement ends in 2018, they always made the best shirts in World Football!

France is not even qualified yet for the WC 2010. This is just another pathetic thing from adidas. They only care to see biggest countries at the WC like Spain, Italy, England etc. etc and nobody cares about smaller teams. I hope Ireland will pass France and qualify for the world cup.

I'm french and i really think that this shirt sucks!! The collar is very bad and this red strip... it's too much for my eyes! overmore, this shirt is not original at all, it's the same thing that 98' shirt, even if this year remind me good things... to finsh, we are in 2010, so why adidas doesn't make shirts with a future touch; it's really boring now to wearing an old-school shirt... more technology! more originality! i really think that adidas must improve his style and be innovant.
oh, i've forget, one more thing...

ALLEZ LES BLEUS!!!! COMME EN 98!!!!

Can make you make the shirt in green? Also get ride of that chicken. One more request replace it with a SHAMROCK. That looks good. Republic of Ireland are a very dangerous team. An over confident French can beat themselves.

If we get rid of these chickens , we would have no french team.
If Ireland wins in Dublin, France will be looking for coach.
Can Ireland do it? Yes they can. How can a small nation have so much support around the world? Anything can happen at this game. It's a 50/50 ball game. This shirt will really look watching Serbia, England , USA and the Republic of Ireland on the coach watching TV (World Cup 2010) .

1. France
2. Lichtenstein
3. San Marino
4. Malta
5. Andorra
6. Faroe Islands
7. Vatican Let's omit the Vatican there might be a miracle and France will end up second again and we have to hear all this french complaining again. Do you see any other of these countries a threat to the great french empire?

Which French team will show up? Austria found a weakness, high balls in the french box . Ireland are a much stronger team and their coach is more adoptable. Both teams have strengths, it is the differences in their weaknesses that will determine the game. Hold off on the shirt. One long high ball into the French box could change all that. This will be a good game. Hope the better team advances ( REP of IRELAND). The French can always go shirtless.
Thank You
Have a nice day
