Germany World Cup 2010 Adidas Kit leaked

E-mail

germany-world-cup-2010.jpg

This is the new Germany World Cup 2010 home kit made by Adidas which will be available through the FSC shop.

The new Germany World Cup 2010 kit made by adidas will be officially unveiled in November, and the German national team already made a commercial for it. The 40 person security staff could not prevent that the pictures were leaked on the internet a couple of hours later.

The new adidas shirt has elements of World Cup wins of 1954, 1974 and 1990. Black collar, black cuffs and the badge on the left is similar to the one used on the European title winning shirt of 1996.

Eleven vertical lines represent the team spirit of the eleven players who are on the field. The three central lines are in the national colours black, red, gold.

Thanks to Philipp, Dave and todo sobre camisetas

other than the magnificent crest..its a dull kit...
seems to lack creativity
i expected a kit designed for the future that would end the vintage kit trend..
maybe nike kits will be better

There\'s something inherently teutonic about this kit. It just doesn\'t sit well with me.

Just one little thing they have overlooked. They have not qualified yet! As a certain Mr Keegan would rant, \"I would LOVE it, I would just LOVE it if Russia and Bulgaria made Adidas efforts all in vain\"

Anyway, the BIG shirt story, in fact \"THE\" shirt story is www.shirt2010.net - a unique shirt!!

Totally agree.

The Germany away kit is GREEN.

Not grey, not black, not red, not whatever other color they want.

It´s just GREEN.

I hope the majority of you guys, carping this classy shirt aint english and loving their new shirt. Cos that would be a joke, mates.

In comparims to the new plain white english shirt, this new german is at least a good effort. Its plain, clear but has new elements in. The new badge is class!

Where s the joke in the new english shirt, which is plain white and having nothing in it. I think this is a bit of a double standard, ay?

Iam luvin it and as a scotsman i will buy it and am looking forward to getting equiped by Adidas too!

Are those solid plastic numbers on the shirts there? Go back to the sponsor material used by Liverpool on their shirts in the early 2000s.

Very Very Very nice kit, Vintage Germany, minimal fuss, subtle details, crest make-up is excellent. Would love to see what adidas will be doing for Scotland.

Nothing beats the 1990 and 1994 German World Cup shirts though, very flashy but very unique.

The crest is superbly designed. The black red & gold stripes with white stripes either side is well presented, too.

My only criticism is that the adidas stripes do not run completely from the collar to the sleeves, presumably to allow FIFA a clear space in which to slap a badge or two on them. Tournament badges should not influence how a shirt should be designed.

Overall it\'s a very good shirt.

they have to, because th y have to be attached quick and easy which is mostly a problem with stripes.

Its not a bad kit to be honest, there are some nice design features. But I really hoped adidas would come up with something more imaginative and more striking, especially with it being the World Cup next year.

When you think of it the Germany kit is THE most important one that adidas has to produce. I think they\'ve done a good job on this one. It\'s a contemporary classic. Not sure about the collar but that\'s my only gripe.

As an Engilsh football fan it pains me to say it... but... I REALLY like this kit. They\'ve got the retro look sopt on, just like Umbro did with England\'s kit. It looks set to be one of the classiest World Cups ever! Sadly this Germany kit has the look of \"World Cup Winners\" written all over it.

its one of those kits that are alright but end up growing on you alot, abit like englands home shirt, i was\'nt very fussed by it & found it plain but would still buy it, but eventually it has really grown on me & that has to be one of the best kit designs this year. Its the same story with this can see the tributs to all there silverware triumphs especially euro 96, as most people are mentioning, the badge is pure class & i really wish the england shirt had something like that on there shirt because as someone pointed out it just screams at you world cup winners. Alot of people are saying that the shirt is dull but to be fair theres not alot you can do with white and i think addidas have done as good a job as they can

This is a classy look for the Germans. Strictly white with black piping and an almost intimidating emblem.

They\'ve tried to incorporate red and yellow from the national flag into the shirt in recent times which to mind has detracted from the overall look. This is back to the 1970 / 74 era.

There are certain countries shirts I just can\'t wear without somehow feeling unpatriotic...France, Germany, Scotland, Argentina, Australia etc...but this is tempting.

Top shirt.

Oh gosh this kit is so ugly...
What the hell is wrong with adidas these days... and they have to come up with some sort of explanation on the weird designs saying they signify or mean something... and always have to go back into the history books and sell 50 year old designs...
Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

-2 # 2009-09-08 11:17
adding some afterthought to that...

The shiny badge looks nice, I must say. But the lines running down from the shoulders to the bottom just looks so damn ugly. I wish they would\'ve taken that off.

I was really looking forward to get the 2010 world cup jersey but this one doesn\'t look so good after all. I really loved the 2006 kit. It just looks simply fantastic. It\'s symmetrical and the colours just worked well. The 2008 kit is kinda ok, I like the design, but not that big black slab across the chest.

This new one looks like they\'ve gone retro, again. And everytime adidas goes retro the kit looks ugly. One example would be the 2008 away kit - even though Germany never used it... and that applied to club kits too.

One trivial thing is that if you look at the 2006 kit on ebay, people are still bidding like crazy over them. the 2008 kits had rather luke warm reception. It\'d be interesting to see if people will still be very willing to buy them 4 years later just like the previous world cup kits. it would be a good indication of how popular the jersey design is.
