Gillingham F.C. revealed their new 10/11 home and away kits made by Vandanel.
Although Gillingham have long been associated with the colours blue and white, the original New Brompton side wore a strip consisting of black and white striped shirts with black shorts.
In 1913 the black and white strip was dropped in favour of red shirts with blue sleeves, emblazoned with the borough's coat of arms. The striped shirts returned after World War One, before finally being replaced with the now-familiar combination of plain blue shirts and white shorts in 1931.
More recent years have seen several variations on the blue and white colour scheme. In the late 1990s the team wore blue and black striped shirts, recalling the original New Brompton stripes. In March 2010 the club announced a return to the black and blue stripes for the 2010–11 season
The GFC Megastore would like to announce that the new 2010/2011 kit will not be on sale until August. The exact date on which the kit will be on sale will be confirmed shortly.

No, Southampton's shirt (first wore stripes in 1896) is not a copy of Olympiakos (formed 29 years later), and actually, Atletico's red and white colours were actual Saints shirts from 1911 - before then both Atletico and Athletic Bilbao wore blue and white, but when the kit buyer came to England to get Blackburn shirts he couldn't get them, and took Southampton ones instead.
As far as Sunderland goes, they had red and white stripes from 1885, Saints adopted them 10 years later when they first became Southampton FC.
PLain and simple works best IMO
Away kit - Dark colour with black stripes
Anyone fancy explaining how this'll work for kit clashes?
The blue and black stripes combine the modern plain blue shirt and the black and white stripes from their days as New Brompton, obviously replacing the white for the blue.
Obviously that was a little difficult to work out. Especially if you're as retarded as Sammi Boi appears to be.
International rescue, Thunderbirds are go!!!!
Hows about Peru or River Plate???
Our yellow away kit was not very nice but the only way Scally could flog them was to sell them for like BOGOG for £20.
I'm loving the return of the Black & Blue home kits. We did vote for them to come back on Facebook last season.
Believe it or not the only Caravan in Gillingham seems to be outside Priestfield hidden away in a garden. It's an annoying stigma and it's growing old. Millwall are more likely to be "pikeys" seeing as think we are "London's caravan park".
when the club first started in like 1900 maybe a little before we played in white and black stripes. In the 90's we changed the white for Blue after years of just blue and white shirts.. So if anything it's a merge of all the historical kits.
