sc Heerenveen 10/11 Jako Home Shirt

This is a leak of the new sc Heeneveen shirt made by Jako for the 2010/2011 Eredivisie season.

It is the third shirt made by Jako for Heerenveen since taking the reigns from Umbro.

As well as the traditional white and blue stripes the shirt contains seven red pompeblêden (water lillies) on the front and back which are a reference to the Frisian "sea countries" during the middle ages, independent regions along the Dutch coastline, a unique feature to all of Heerenveen's home shirts.

Thanks to Ane, Jeroen and Mike

That's their traditional design, numbnuts. It's based on the Frisian flag:

These people are more concerned with posting the "first comment !" as opposed to providing sensible criticism.

I don't like that design, maybe it should get the same treatment as the new Inter Milan Home shirt.

Pompebleden... I think this shirt is for all Heerenveen fans a lovely shirt. A lot of fans will buy it this way!

Thank god they got rid of all those lines around the shoulders, they were easily the worst part about last years' kit.

And I've always liked the lillies on Heerenveen's shirts. It's great to have a shirt that's truly unique to a club, most other clubs just have generic designs in the club colours.

Uhmm..., No

I don't think this is gonna be nice. I prefer a white collar, and I like retro but this is just that stupid kind of old, you know.

Awesome shirt!
By far the best Heerenveen shirt bij Jako.
It's far more traditional than the previous home kits and exactly how the fans wanted it.
This will look great on the pitch.
Also: I just noticed that the Univé on the back is missing, so I suppose that it's finally going to be replaced with the players' names... NICE!

BTW: Anyone who thinks that those lilies are hearts is just an idiot.
I'm sorry to say that, but we try to make clear what they are every single season, but no one ever seems to remember it.
It's getting on my nerves and it's quite insulting towards the people of Friesland.
The lilies are symbolic to them and it pisses them off whenever someone calls them hearts, so please don't do that.

Amazing kit and just an outstanding job by Jako. Last years home kit was terrible but this easily tops everything of the last 15 years. As a proud fan I'm so happy with it... we've finally got our shirt back.

It's a shame we can't show this kit in the Europe League though

Jacko?

Jackoff!

What a brilliant name for a shirt maker that makes crap shirts. The Umbro shirts were five times as good as the past few editions, they've been crap.

It's not a bad shirt aside from the red water lilies in the white stripes. Maybe just one small lily on the back collar would have sufficed.

I honestly cannot believe the number of idiots that have posted on this page so far.

One would think Heervenveen is a prominent enough Dutch club for football fanatics to know what their kit looks like, but I guess i overestimated the posters of this website (once again)

Great looking shirt. Very distinctive.

Losing the pompebleaden for people from Friesland is like losing the lions or the St George cross to the English!

It's tradition... understand and behave

on the other hand ( four fingers and a thumb) the bumcheek remark is a classic

and Jako remains a minor kitmaker

but its still an ugly shirt. The frisians dont even know they stole the flag from the groningen-ommelanden. ( the province next to friesland ) those where indeed hearts with blue stripes.
next season FC Groningen will be the pride of the north again..

heerenveen = bumcheeks

good luck with trainer jans

FC Groningen, green white army

You stupid asshole, know your history

Centuries ago Groningen was part of the Frisians, that's why Groningen has the flag. But the flag is (and will always be) part of the Frisians. Groningen was the capital city of the Frisians back then.

That makes you a Frisian in a way

Everything Groningen has is leaving them and going to Heerenveen... Jans, Libregts, Kruiswijk and Blind within a few weeks. They know better than you.
