HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 10-11 mitre home kit

Huddersfield Town revealed the new 10/11 home kit made by Mitre.

As ever the home shirt consists of the traditional blue and white stripes, but this season the blue is lighter - more similar to the shirt worn by the Town team that won the Football League Championship three times in a row back in the 1920s. The stripes are also slightly thinner making for a stylish, streamlined look.

As well as the logo of new partner Kirklees College emblazoned across the front, the shirt also features a new white collar.

Town's home shorts will be blue, for the first time since the Club won promotion through the Play-Offs back in the 1994/95 campaign. White socks complete the kit, with a blue trim akin to the shorts and stripe in the shirt.

The kit is expected to arrive in store on 4 August.

it's quite nice but it looks like they're soo proud on their 3 stars that they added them on every square inch on the shirt (crest, collar, and below the shirt)

And why not? Not many teams have won THREE English titles in a row.

Huddersfield Town
Arsenal
Liverpool
Manchester United (twice)

It's an incredible achievement, so don't knock it. I can only presume the club you support isn't listed above.

I wish they still made the match balls for the Premier League. They were miles better than Nike's efforts.

It's all right this kit. Very good. Nice use of the stripes whilst still sticking to tradition.

Blue shorts make an interesting change.

If i were a town fan, i'd be well happy with this.

Three stars=3 times they won the football league. Managed by the great Herbert Chapman.

Yeah, but they've got them above the badge, on the side of the shirt and on the back of the collar.
It was back in the bloody twenties!
Newcastle last won the football league in 27' but you don't see them scattering their kits with four stars.
Huddersfield need to move on.

I think it would be good if more clubs adopted a specific shade, like this. So many clubs in England wear the same dreary colours.

For me, Town means white shorts. Otherwise, thumbs up.
