As far as I know, Adidas are not getting lazy, they have already been like that for years...

This shirt is very generic... not bad, but neither is original.

Very good looking shirt, like it.
I really hope hungarian football recovers and gets back to old strenght. Even as a german! I´ll never forget 54er final, if it was the other way around, maybe them would be a footballing power, nowadays.

For several years, notably that the designers of the brand Adidas problems with imagination.
But do not misunderstand me correctly but that model and they both can not solve the problem nicely and aesthetically with the collar.
In this model as in many previous models shirt looks ugly and it seems that the player who would put etu form should be sent to the guillotine and cut off beforehand as the collar before the execution.

Just like the Ucrain shirt this is incredibly boring and dull. It looks like a training shirt with a badge. I can't believe that such a big company is so incredibly lazy in their designs. This shirt hasn't even got a design, it's too bland.

i'll get it because I support Hungary but I agree, any styling would have been good!!! I think the only saving grace is that the England T-shirt , sorry away strip, will be even more dull when that is released for £54.99

Excuse me, but of course England shirt is a different theme and a totally different brand. There, that is bad for Umbro, and that good, it is not the problem Adidas.

Problem I see with adidas at the moment is that their design is more focussed on the shirts being recognised first and foremost as adidas shirts rather than as the shirts of those that they are supplying. You used to be able to tell a Hungary shirt or a Czechoslovakia shirt, for example, by the style of the shirt itself - the badge in the middle, the laced collars, the distinct shades of red. The only reason I know this is a Hungary shirt is because you've told me. But I know it's an adidas shirt. A dull, boring, drab, ten-a-penny adidas shirt.

Hungary are being short changed. Adidas can do it when they want to. The new Denmark shirt is top notch, and they've been doing excellent Marseille shirts for years.

It appears that most, if not all continue to state that the adidas range of kits are dull, boring, predictable, etc. I fail to see how this is different to the other major international manufacturers? Nike, and Puma produce indentikit designs left right and center!
I think ultimately, the shirts which get the individualistic touch are those which will sell well as replicas, ie; Germany, France, Spain. It's a simple matter of economics. I'm sure the average soccer fan in Budapest has got better things to spend $70/$80 on than a nylon football shirt!
Maybe one little stylistic touch that could give individuality would be the return of the France style 'three stripe' trim, you know.......white, red, white, blue, white on the shirts/shorts. Actually i think if you check back to the late 70s early 80s Hungary shirts used to have that treatment. An easy touch and instant uniqueness!

the kit looks poor quality, especially the stitching. poor job adidas, doesnt even have the fancy ducktape. i bet instead of a fancy box they get a cardboard box

Hungary always gets the most boring adidas templates for ages... nothing unique staff for Hungarian supporters. i'm Hungarian but theres no chance for buying this boring desing for years. i hope they will realize that becuse we use adidas kits from the 70's

yeah i agree with aro i am hungarian too, but adidas gives the regular plain templates to hungary, their not that bad but i wish they gave some unique touch to it. I believe, though, that adidas only gives the unique templates to all of the big countries, that bring more business to their company, since those countries like, france, germany, spain, all qualify for the world cup

Why adidas would create a unique shirt for Hungary? There is not a lot of people who buy a national team shirt. It is very expensive for the hungarian. It is also hard to find a store where these shirts are available.
This should be a nice shirt without the green lines on the sleeve.

they never tried to design a more unique shirt, so they never get the chance to realize the difference in business. for example nike can make a very nice shirt for Slovenia (i know they are on the World Cup now) but i sure we have more supporters here who would buy a unique shirt than Slovenians
