We showed you some (removed) leaked pictures of the Italy 10/12 Football Shirts a while ago, but now the Italy World Cup 2010 Home shirt made by puma is already available for pre-order in some Italian webshops, and the FSC Shop Soon.

Apparently Puma went for the “cyborg” look at the front and a collar with a tricolor border that is supposed to have 5 peaks that make it look like a star seen from above.

The new Italy 2010/12 football shirts will be available for delivery in February 2010 here.

poor you, your butthurt is understandable. you never knew what football is and probably will keep screaming during all your pathetic life that football is not what you expect of it. No matter Italy is quattrocampioni, the matter is to play smart. That means defence. Look at your Brazil, even they have plenty of masters up front, they are sincerely trying to keep a clean sheet, every smart team is doing this with a 6-7 defending players. It's just that Italy is doing it better.
By the way, did you ever play game?

Back to T shirt. It is actually terific. Puma does well because it's not easy to keep doing new things. Forza Italia!

The only bad (and I mean seriously awful) part of the kit is the muscle design on the chest. Dont mind the white stripes on the sleeves. I actually really like the collar and how they incorporated the colors of the Italian flag into it. Overall probably a 6.8 out of 10. That chest design is downright hideous.

The collar is okay; but the chest print is rather awkward. I wonder what they are trying to depict with that. Muscles? Bones?

All in all, we will have to wait and see the whole kit: shirt + shorts+ socks, to have a good view of it.

Maybe it's not so bad.

I certainly had expected something better after the great Puma shirts for the African countries.

Hey hold on everyone, look at it really well and then judge the idea behind it. The drawing make it a little different than other team shirt that are simply bland. I think the drawing represent the armour that Rome Gladiators used to wear in battle, the collar is different simply like the collar covering Gladiators neck when they fight. The blue is really nice and take us back to the real blue of Italy. I think Puma have done a great job with the afrcian teams drawing on the shoulder which inspired this one. I think it will look good in the player but just looking at the drawing without understanding what does it mean will certainly make it not that great. It is simply different (italian style), history (rome gladiators), and pleasing to the eye (back to the real blue of Italy and not the navy blue).

ABSolutely grotesque; it looks like an alien face has been superimposed on the chest. This is as bad as the light blue and brown kit worn in the 2009 Confederations Cup. The Italy kit from 1982 is still their best design and this 2010 effort is dreadful in comparison.

Its not as nice as Spain's for the World Cup, but its not awful. For us Italian women the muscle makes the matches even more enjoyable to watch ;)

Oh and Natty, tell Australia to get over 2006. Australia were only in the game because Materazzi had been sent off earlier for nothing. Its hardly as if Australia had a chance of winning it.

i dont mind the kit. its not a good looking kit but it fairs a bit. the embedded design is rather awkward, puma could have done better with these designs as in other kits but for italy they didnt put much effort. i really like the collar thou and the colours they put in the collar. but it seems puma started with the collar then gave up for the rest of the kit. eh.....what i really want to see is the new usa and england kits and the away kits of those not put up yet

GLADIATORS??
It just looks like a cyborg face,(awful)
and furthermore the gladiator doesn't represent Italy, it's only a Roman icon.

Apart of that crappy cyborg/muscle background
it's not a bad shirt. nothing special, but it has a good tone of azzurro, the white pinstripes on the arms look good, and the collar at least brought back after 15 years(since 1st Nike shirt) the tricolore on the shirt.

Puma is selling two home kits. The on field replica will be the tight fitted version(AS CAN BE SEEN ON PUMAFOOTBALL.COM WHERE ETO'O IS WEARING THE TIGHT FITTED CAMEROON JERSEY) and the "body armor" is not as noticeable than the picture shown. Also this on field one comes in a special wood box and will be numbered 1/2010 (they are making 2010 to sell) priced at $150 US.

They will also sell a replica of the jersey (short sleeve $75 US, long sleeve $80 US) and these will be a loose fit. The "body armor" in this jersey is like the photo shown in the above post. "

Well guys personally i think the kit is unreal! What other team bases there shirt on the armour on the Romans...? Puma really went to town with this and I'm happy they didn't use the same old boring template for the African teams or most of the league teams. I'm just hoping the away one is the one i have seen then I'll be a happy bunny.

What really makes this kit rock is actually not the jersey but the socks! You`ll all know what I`m talking about when you actually see the coplete kit in action. The white wavy lines are subtle on the shirt but are more pronounced in the socks. The Italian kit socks cost about 20 us dollars. I`ll pass on the jeresey and get me them socks!
