luton town 10-11 125th anniversary carbrini kit

The Hatters had a surprise in store for the supporters who made the trip to watch Thursday's friendly at Marlow.

This season the Town are marking their 125th anniversary and what better way to celebrate it by commissioning a pink and navy blue halved shirts - their first club colours way back in 1885.

Marlow, or Great Marlow as they were back then, were the Hatters' first opponents in a competitive match and Thursday's friendly was used to showcased the new strip.

The Town will also wear the colours in Tuesday's friendly at Kenilworth Road against a Liverpool XI and at home to Altrincham on the first day of the season on 14th August.

It will then be worn again when Bath City are the visitors to Kenilworth Road in 30th October - the date nearest that first match played against Marlow in the FA Cup 125 years ago.

Thanks to Ben

Yes I quite like it. I do think howver, that it would look a bit snazzier if it had a breast pocket with some 'dew drop' zips.

What a class kit - lovely and simple/retro in the current umbro style... 10/10 I love these bold basic designs, they hark back to an era of the game when things were much better, less ££££££'s and over-rated players... C'mon Luton, pull your fingers out, I remember watching you at St. James' Park when you had the likes of Steve Foster (inc that headband!) Ricky Hill, Mick Harford, Brian Stein and Emica Nwajobi - who was so quick, he'd give a cheetah a race!!!! Happy memories....

Awful, the collar has one small button and the crest is too large with unnecessary script below it

The shirt is a commemorative shirt, hence the embroidery saying so and large Borough of Luton arms. Wasn't that hard really was it?

It's good that they got a guy with a big neck to display the shirt. If a pencil neck guy were to put them on, it would look horrible.

It a piece of History, the same colours as the first kit ever worn for Luton Town. 125 years of History.

It´s a very nice kit. No sponsor is always a plus, but where did you buy it. In a flea market? It seems a low quality kit. Not worth of Luton Town.

Fantastic looking kit. Good lines, interesting colours, nothing unnecessary (although, you're right Gi11ingham, it is a bit Dulwich Hamlet). Classic nonetheless!

What a way to celebrate 125 years.
A non-league Amatuer team wearing pink.
I am so glad that I support Watford FC a professioanl club.
Do non-league teams matter anymore?
I can watch a local side of similar calibre play over at South Oxhey on a Sunday at 10:30 without having to pay a penny.
Pink hatters, brown hatters, does it matter.....
