Man City Umbro Home shirt 2010 2011 Leaked

Here is what appears to be the new Manchester City home shirt manufacturer by Umbro for the 2010-11 season.

The shirt doesn't deviate to much away from this season's shirt which was warmly greeted by City fans as being one of their best ever.

The shirt is all sky blue with white cuffs and a blue collar, muchly in the same style as the England away shirt. Their are also faint pinstripes running down the front of the shirt. In side the collar you can see the now easily recognisable Umbro 'Tailored in England' sign as well as a nice detailing of a classic Man City scarf.

My goodness, that's one heck of a censoredy shirt!
I though last years' kit was perfect, but this kit appearently exceeds perfection

Bollocks. Last season's was miles better. I don't see any sense in changing it already.

The little scarf inside the collar is a nice detail though.

Yeah, the changes aren't that big, but I really like the modern approach on this one.
I liked the new England away shirt and this one resembles it, it's pretty much altered only a little to make it a City shirt.
Many fans liked last years' kit and Umbro realised that, so they decided to only make some minimal changes to it, making it a new shirt without really dissappointing the fans.
I'm more of a fan of retro kits with a modern touch and that's why I like this new kit better, with the rounded sleeves and the pintripes and all...
I can imagine that some people, such as you, find the creation of a new kit ,while the current one is just perfect, a little bit pointless.
I can't imagine that someone would call this kit ugly or ssomething, though...
At the moment, Umbro is one of the best manufacturers around, if not the best.
The tailored kits look awesome and almost all of the fans love 'em.
It's time that even more teams turned to Umbro; some tailored kits on The Big Four wouldn't hurt.

it's pretty crap. now matter how much nike tries to rebrand umbro, umbro will always be shitty umbro selling replica england shirts in 2008 (failure to qualify for the Euros) for £10.99 in your local JD or Sportsdirect - totally cheap pikey brand. Umbro should just cease to exist.

No they did not!

Umbro the "manufactures" do not set the price for the product, that is down to the seller (In that particular case Sports Direct).

Agreed, why would anybody pay £40 for an Englannd shirt when we didn't qualify for the Euros? It's just companys making sure they still sell the shirts, when HMV reduces the prices of DVDs you don't assume that the film is poor

how they can brand southampton, sunderland and swansea kits tailored by is anyones guess as they are not like this.

It's nice enough, but it makes me sad. Not because it's bad, but because it reminds me of the days when nicer jerseys were made for each team. This is what goalkeeper shirts used to be like, before each and every team got these weird and ugly shirts to 'psych out' opposing strikers. Except it doesn't work, so you're only left with ugly shirts.

I like its simplicity; less is more. I really hope we keep white shorts but also introduce some maroon into the design (perhaps a narrow maroon line down the side of the shorts and a couple of maroon stripes on the socks) just like our late 60s early 70s. Good job (so far).

If Umbro are Feeling pretty lazy and cannot be bothered to design a new away shirt

Ivve got the feeling that is going to be red and black

On this kit, its pretty nice, but its way too similar to last seasons. One of the problems with one year kits is that they have to be updated every year, and that means that the designers can run out of ideas or not be brave enough to make a kit that looks now (Ie Everton when they had Umbro, or a team with a shirt style that is set in stone ie Ajax)

They should really have kept the 2009-10 shirt, and designed a new one for 2011-13

A very good shirt, but imo it's too similar to last year one.
I'm looking forward to watch their next home shirt, beacuse I'm curious to discover how Taylored by Umbro will evolve: will they be able to innovate this great range of shirt, or they just will be prisoners of their own great style? (Like kappa did with kombat shirts: great in 2000, nasty today)
For the next season I suggest another similar shirt, but with navy collar: a little innovation to keep on being the best

When making the replica shirts Umbro PLEASE make the boys shorts with a better elastic and drawstring so I don't need to put a safety pin in my skinny 8 year old's ones to hold them up. Its kind of embarassing for his shorts to come down while playing a game in training!

Quoting Luca A.:
Dear Celtivc FC Derry,

What reasons do you think convinve players, say, from Japan, to move to Celtic Park? Honour and glory?

Quoting celtic fc free derry:
a rotten kit for a wee team with loads of money whats it like to sopport a team that players dont really want to play for ur club and are there just the for the money

Well Celtic FC seeing as you're probably a Utd fan in disguise like most Celtic fans I am not surprised by your sentiments. However please enlighten me and the rest of the footballing world by informing us what Scottish Football has to offer players, other than square sausage, deep fried pizza, Tennant's Super and the best Skag in Europe. Bitter plastic rag, worry about your own team and pittiful league and leave us to worry about ours. P.S. I'm Irish and we don't want NI back!

Ok so i like this top:D and i like city but celtic r no shit team and its not there fault the league is so pish bt hey who was the first british team to win european cup??..glasgow celtic nd wen wer man city really major contenders to win anything?? At least every year celtic are expected to win league and are expected and do gt into europe every season unlike city who can only get into europes diddy league which celtic were in final of in 2003 beating off 2 major clubs in england at the time that were liverpool and blackburn rovers with ease also beating man u in 2007. So i would reases my views on celtic fc if i were you pal;)

Samaras? Nice one Celtic.
And Celtic fc 1 he was just being a twat so we had to offend the club. Maybe once you move out of the Georgie Samaras stage you might start becoming half decent again. But if you've got the Jesus look-alike with about as many powers as a censoreding snail you know your in shite. At least at the time we signed him he (apparently) showed promise ha.
And nice kit.

MANCHESTER CITY...

The team with the money. You will all most probably send messages back to this with hatred over how im dissing your team and how appalling they really are. YOUR team play for YOU because of money, not love of the club or love of the premier league, teams like you are killing football to this day. I dont see why you have to pay such big money for players to upgrade your squad when i think it is already a amazing side WITHOUT the likes of 'Carlos Tevez' and 'Silva' you need to take a good long look at your team and think who realy is playing for the love of football at Manchester City. Pick a starting 11 of players who would and i take this all back.

Why pinstripes? Pinstripes, the curse of the 80s. We were shit in the 80s, we don't want to get nostalgic for that era.
