Mansfield Town unveiled the new 10/11 home and away shirt designs made by Errea.

Home shirts will be in stock from the last game of the season at home to Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday 24th April and the away/leisure shirts are expected to be in the club shop for mid-May, in time for the start of England's World Cup journey.

It is the first time they have reverted to home stripes since the 1997/98 season. they have also opted for 'lucky' amber socks next season.  This colour of socks was worn in our 1987 Freight Rover triumph and in our 2001/02 promotion season, to name but two campaigns.

The players will be wearing the new home kit, manufactured by Errea, in the final game of the season at home to Kidderminster Harriers. The shirts will continue to be sponsored by Hymas Homes.

Chairman Andrew Perry said:  "We have finally struck a deal with Errea, a quality and professional kit manufacturer who produce kits worldwide for clubs such as Burnley and Brighton.

"There will be no more delays or cancellations when ordering shirts and we can finally deliver to the fans a quality football shirt that will be available all season-round.

"They are stylish designs which I am sure the fans and players will feel comfortable in."

On the design of the new away/leisure shirts, Mr Perry said:  "We feel this is a great gesture to the national team in the World Cup year, not only to Mansfield supporters but to fans of other clubs."

He added:  "In the next week there will be more news on our Centenary Kit (after the re-naming of Mansfield Town from Mansfield Wesleyans in 1910).

"This will be a commemorative shirt which I am sure enthusiasts of this great football club will appreciate."

Excellent designs. The home shirt that, provided you put some thought into it, you can produce a good, stylish, asymetric design.

It would be great if Umbro could adopt a similar template (white with the red cross) for the England kit, what do you think?

Why..?...just to prove that they have no ideas of their own...NO doubt this innovative design will be copied by Nike and Adidas and have accompanying marketing shite to go with it about how environemntally friendly it is or some such bollocks.

The home shirt is a stunning design. I really like it. 2 more great design from Errea. Perhaps some of the so called big names should take note that it is possible to produce unique designs for individual clubs.

Yeah real originial. You didnt happen to see Inter's nike away from a couple years ago. You know, the white one with the big red cross on the chest. Yea, nike and adidas are definitely going to copy errea even though NIKE ALREADY DID IT.

Actually, Errea first did this for Parma, in Serie A, 4 years ago. It was yellow/blue for home and white/black for away.

As a Stags fan, i'm impressed with the new deal & the new kits. After the demise of Canterbury, i'm just glad we've not gone for Vandanel or (heaven forbid) Macron!

I'm not keen on having white on our home kits, but there's not much of it. Amber & Royal only as far as i'm concerned! It's deifferent & an eye catcher, thats for sure.

The away kit will be a big seller in Mansfield, as a lot of folk are very patriotic in the area.

The away shirt is hardly original. It's only a couple of years since Inter had it.

Can't stand those wonky cut-offs on striped kits either.

Home kit : looks like it was designed by a committee - they couldn't make up their minds -- stripes /plain ....errr... ok, we'll have both!

The away kit ( change kit, not away kit, surely) is a blatant effort to cash in on the world cup. If the National team fail again, I imagine those shirts will quickly be consigned to the bottom of the wardrobe along with last season's "Argentina" one.

Both are really good. Perhaps the home shirt collar doesn't need that fleck of blue, but other than that they're great.

robbed Inter Cetenario away.....and before you say it's Parma's design, we first used that design when we had to change our name to SS Ambrosiana Milano in the late 1920s until after WW2 because of Fascist rule. Internazionale = International, we were open to foreigners, Mussolini's government weren't happy

It'll take more than lucky amber socks and a st georges cross away kit for these scabby losers to get back into the league ah and the stripes, reminds me of when we battered them in the 95 playoffs
