nottingham forest 10-11 home shirt leaked

The wait is over for fans wanting to see the new Nottingham Forest home kit, as the eagerly awaiting strip for the 2010 / 2011 season got leaked. The new kit will be officially revealed on Tuesday 27 July..

Maintaining the Garibaldi red colour that is worn with pride by Forest fans, the new home kit is expected to be a huge hit with supporters when it goes on sale online from Wednesday.

The striking new kit can be seen on Wednesday 28 July when the Robin Hood mascot and some very special supporters in the form of Forest's 'biggest fans' model the new strip at the Nottingham Riviera.

Thanks to Igor

Horrible, horrible teamwear-quality shirt - we're now getting a hand-me-down shirt from the Northern Ireland national team. The material looks very nasty indeed.

Not sure whether it will be optional to have a sponsor on it or not... last year you could get sponsorless shirts as they were made and delivered before VC signed a deal i rekon theyll ensure they are on this seasons kits from the off
VERY happy

Have the Forest fans really been "eagerly awaiting" this shirt?
It's a red t-shirt!!
I'm sure as a full kit it will look pretty classy - but as with West Brom and Southampton Away kits, the fans are getting fleeced.
Umbro have done some great kits over the last year, with great attention to detail, so I'm pretty surprised how lazy these designs are and how cheap they look.
Reply | Reply with quote | Quote

+6 # 2010-07-22 21:10
By "attention to detail" you mean splashing bits of black and white trim all over the place? That is tacky.

This kit is classic and classy. A harp back to the good old days when teams wore their colours with pride, without any need for fancy 'designs'. Just a shame it'll last only one or two seasons before they change it again.

i like the fact it has the stripes built in, but all it is, is a copy of the england away kit which i think is is an over priced t- shirt. i shall be buying only because it is forest's. have said i won't buy the england shirts till they become £20 or less. i feel for this type of a shirt over forty quid is a well and true rip off. really awaited this shirt all summer but over rule am disappointed with the end product. sorry forest think you have failed with this like you are doing again in the transfer market .

I like a forest shirt to have bits of white in it.Not really feeling the love with this shirt. It may grow on me but im sure its going to be over priced yet again. The fans should have a say in what they want a forest shirt to look like & have on it..This new shirt does look like the england away one and for me it looks a little bland & rather plain.

I think people are getting confused about the 'teamwear' term. Just because another side wears a similar style jersey it doesn't make it teamwear! Look back through kit history - similar if not identical styles have been worn by loads of clubs every season.

Teamwear is when a team pick a strip from an existing catalogue of designs and just badge it up.

Anyway....love this shirt!

I'm also a Spurs fan, but Forest are my local team and I want this shirt. I love how they have included the 2 stars on this shirt - reminds me of Cloughie :) Our local hero.

Yeah and your biggest legends are Emile Heskey, Yann Kermogant and that jug-eared prick off Match of the Day.

The manager who got you into the playoffs last season has abandoned you for f***ing Hull, you have no hope of going up this season. This time next year Forest will be looking down on you from the Premier League. Ta-ra!

Working with in the brand new forest club shop, i can confirm that this top is tailor made by umbro as are all the kits umbro are producing this year.

I can also give brief details that the away is very similar....its actually better than this top, very unique!

Thier will be no 3rd kit this season.

It's a little thing called PRIDE. Look it up sometime.

Thanks, I looked it up: "Pride is, depending on the interactional and cultural context, an unjustifiable high sense of one's personal status"

Soon after learned the Forest online store opened for business and saw the new home shirt, I visited there and ordered six of them (3 SS, 1 with the badge; 3 LS, 2 with the badge) this morning , simply the best designed shirt out there. (Yes, wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than some of the top-tier clubs' around the world.)

The style of the shirt really fits with the sponsor, VC's logo as well, boy, I just can't ask for more, this shirt is 10/10, 100/100, A++++!

What baffles me after witnessed this spectacle is why so many other clubs and the manufacturers parntered with them out there failed to deliver a simple football shirt for their players and fans seasons in and seasons out will never be logically explained . Luckily, when collaborated with my Forest, both the club and Umbro are not clueless on this garment subject.

Hope Umbro and Forest will not switch this template in the future, and time to go back EPL, Forest !
