Here is the new Paris Saint-Germain away shirt for the 2010/2011 Ligue 1 season manufactured by Nike.
I know many of you will be a little shocked to read that this is the away shirt for PSG but for one season only to celebrate their 40th year anniversary since their founding, the Paris side will be once again playing in a red home shirt, just as they did back in 1970.
The away shirt is dark blue and sees a return to a central red stripe with white outline, something many PSG fans were unhappy with the previous season. The white outline is given a unique twist with it featuring what appears to be Nike's new trademark 'lightning' effect, giving a jagged look.
The shirt also see the return of a folded collar much like those of the newest Atlético Madrid and Celtic shirts. Near the collar on the back of the shirt is the text 'PSG' reflecting the initials of the club and the founding date.
Colours of the shorts appear to be the same colour blue as the shirt, the socks colour is as of yet unknown but it can be guessed that they will also be the same blue colour.

It's yet further confirmation of the new Man Utd home.
This is how all PSG shirts should be...every years (except those weird lightning effects on the white outlines)!

Both home and away kits are great.
Allez Paris!
The jagged white line looks stupid and pointless .
Muppet.
Great shirt.
Looking forward to the red. I hope they bring the 80's White Home kit soon.
good job nike!
They should have done what Inter and Man City did and place the sponsor below the Nike swoosh and make it 20 times smaller.
don't know what to think of it. it's close to being boring nike kit, but the jagged lining of the stripe gives it a nice subtle touch.
I'm even more confused!
don't know if i like it or not!
Besides my gripes with the sponsor cutting the stripe, I quite like the shirt, although I would have preferred a non-polo collar.
but nice shirt
