Very nice kit. Kappa always make nice kits. I don't like the huge Kappa logos on the shoulders though. That's my only gripe - apart from the socks, but am guessing they haven't made samples of those yet ?

Portsmouth are now paying the price for their exuberant spending over the last few years. Paying obscene wages to MERCENARIES like David James, Sol Campbell, Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch, Lasagne Diarra and of course Harry Redknapp himself.

Redknapp, a man they despised and called "Judas" when he left them for Southampton, their sworn enemies. But, wait for it, they loved Redknapp when he came crawling back to them and they revered him as some kind of demi-God, cheering with delight as he was granted the freedom of the city of Portsmouth! Oh, guess what? They hate him again now because he betrayed them and left for a bigger club, yet again!

Portsmouth wanted to compete with the big teams, despite being a tiny club with a tiny stadium and a tiny fanbase. They were quite happy to take the dirty money of the very shady Gaydamark, an Eastern European arms dealer! They cheated to win the FA Cup and soiled the name of the world's oldest and greatest cup competition. Well now they are going down to the second division and you know what the best part is? They're not coming back up.

They're not coming back up any time soon because while the strongest teams in the Championship this year will be get stronger, poor old Pompey are going to have to rebuild their entire squad because all their remaining mercenaries are going to desert them.

Karma's a censored.

It must be very cold and lonely on your moral high ground, you bitter old thing. Aren't all footballers mercenaries to a certain extent anyway - or do some of them pay for nothing. Something, incidentally that the Pompey players had to do for four months this season. But don't let the facts get in the way of a rant.

1. We have the biggest and loudest fan base - fact!

2. Its not the club's, players or fans fault we had dodgy investors.

3. We're not annoyed at redknapp leaving for totenham, we're annoyed with the mess he left behind as he was a massive part of the financial problem.

4. It's good to see that the majority of our squad is staying and will bounce straight back up.

5. Are you a glory supporter as it sounds that way due to your lack knowledge statement 'tiny club'?

Zing

Not bad - Kappa name is too big on the left side of the chest. Pompey will always look good on the pitch because of the red socks - excellent tradition. Blue-white-red is a great combo.

They're in administration, so I wonder if they opted for a larger fee up front to help pay off their creditors. This may mean less income mid-term but ensure survival short-term.

sorry for spamming, BUT it bothers me...

the kappa LOGO destroys every kit!
like the lotto logo does, either!

why do they have to put it on the sleeves??? its just too much!

why not K.I.S.-design-theory? Keep It Simple! one logo on the chest, everything else design.

thats why i prefer Nike and Umbro.
NOT adidas, kappa, lotto...

A special one off kit for an FA Cup semi-final. Oh please! Where will this end? If they make the final will they have another 'One Off' shirt for that? Probably.
Next thing there will be a shirt for the day they got relegated from the Premier league.

It seems the club really are in desperate ways if they've started producing shirts for an FA cup semi final. Yet another way to fleece the fans.

special edition, 3 kits per season etc.....

where does that end?

monthly shirts in 10 years.

Makes me sick-a bottom of the League Club should wear potato-bags or give the shirts away for free-to loyal supporters.

Fukkin disgrace this rip-off mentality to expolit the fans(oooh the smat amongst youguys will say: Dont buy it if you dont want to... )

Bye Bye Pompey

Right lets get this straight, James wanted a pink kit and is wearing it to support a cancer charity, the main kit is a one off, we will be wearing Kappa next season too because Canterbury in Europe has gone under, so Kappa is coming in and a new design is yet to be finalised. In the Cup final Chelsea won the toss and will be in blue, we will be in white but not sure whether current white strip or Kappa???

The Semi kit is not and has not been offered to the public for sale so its not making money out of fans, the opposite really as Kappa paid the club to get them to wear the shirts. Its great exposure. Canterbury went bust at the start of the season so we need to change makesfor next.

Kappa will be doing our kits for 5 years. This shirt cannot be worn in the Final as it clashes with the blue of chelsea and they won the toss. I'm sure Kappa will want one of their kits used in the show piece to the cup campain so will do a shirt for us.

As yet it is undecided weather this will be released, an announcement is due tomoro on this. If it is then it's no different to any other club who release special shirts for the cup finals. Atleast this way its a whole new shirt and nt just the one we have used all year with a few extra letters printed on like last time. And as with all kits, you dont have to buy them!
