I agree. The VW logo is one of the best sponsors, because it's clean and matches the shirt well. If it weren't for those shoulder sponsors, these would be perfect kits.

So a third kit is when the opposition clash with a team's first two kits. Usually the third is a totally different colour no?

You are right, but in this case the only difference is in the sash because they use it only on international competitions, thats why the sash have the colors of the mexicos flag

There are more kit clashes in the Mexican league than anywhere else, even Brazil. It's that shocking.

One of those black kits is a complete waste of time, what is the point?

There are virtually no difference between the away and the third kit other than the sash? I am always a big fan of shirts with a sash or halves, they look different

Aren't sweet potatoes grown or farmed, not "made"? Anyway, these shirts are nice, but that sponsor is waaaay too big and overbearing. Other than that, I love the home shirt (classic Puebla look), the black n blue one is also cool, and the tricolor one is a great idea that was well-executed. Very patriotic!

I agree that the translation is wrong. The fact is that the nickname "Camoteros" refers to the people elaborating a candy made from sweet potato, not making sweet potato itself

I like the black jersey despite having so many sponsors, but the one with the "tricolor" stripe is a bit too much. It is true that this year Mexico celebrates the 200 anniversay of its independence, but they look like the President of Mexico

That's a Hip-Hop style shirt! They should add a silver chain effect from the shoulders down to the VW logo, real Old Skool!

WTF!!!

Are the club owned by Volkswagon?

I presume the rules regarding sizes of sponsors logos have been dropped/relaxed.

Either way, it's looks terrible!....

VW actually has one of its largest manufacturing plants in Puebla and are closely linked to the club....hence the supersize logo.

You're right, I used to attend UDLA Puebla and I lived about a 30 minute walk from the VW plant. It's absolutely MASSIVE. The club and the company have a very long and storied history together (a quick chat with my ex-roommate, who played for their youth side confirmed this) and this is the club's way of showing how important VW is to both the team and to the city of Puebla as well. My host father worked for them.

Great club, I went out to a few of their matches (saw them play Indios, America, Chivas, and Cruz Azul) and they're brilliant. The stadium, while old, is still great on matchdays and it has a awesome atmosphere, especially when the big clubs roll into town.

Those of you who are bashing the size of the VW logo have no idea what the team nor the city are all about. Shame you talk shit without knowing your facts. Pathetic.

There's a Volkswagon plant in Puebla and they've been a main sponsor for such a long time, they're essentially part of the kit at this stage.

Dude these shirts are freaking SWEET!!!!!!!
Kappa is always styling with those awesomely dope oversized shoulder logos!
VW logo is insane, freaking of the hook! Dope black third with the Mexican colors sash, so dope!
The sky blue is just so cool! Paint the rest all black, righteous philosophy!

This is really why i hate sponsorship on shirts, even now where football clubs are facing financial decline and basically being forced to have alot sponsors on shirts...its so tragic to look that. What i see behind the ugly sponsors is beautiful designs by Kappa, just the sponsors that ruin it totally!

Proud Veracruz fan (Puebla rivals), but not ashamed to say that this is a really nice kit, way better than most Atletica ones of previous years. However these are the things that in my honest opinion don't look good on this shirt:
VW logo is way too big, you could easily be renamed as Volkswagen FC. The Clemente Jaques logo on the right sleeve is also too big. Two sponsors on the left sleeve, Estrella Roja and Elektra, and how many sponsors on the back? Pretty sure the main one is Cerveza Sol, is there another one?
