queens park rangers 10-11 lotto home kit

Queens Park Rangers Football Club revealed the identity of their new Lotto home kit for the 2010/11 campaign.

The strip, which will be worn by the R's First Team in our final fixture of the season against Newcastle United on Sunday lunchtime, features the iconic Blue and White Hoops, as well as a new thin red piping, harping back to the popular Guinness jersey from the early 1980's.

R's ace Akos Buzsaky, who modeled the kit at our official launch earlier this week, is a huge advocate of the new strip, commenting: "It's very nice - I really like the way it looks. Hopefully the fans will like it as much as we do.

"The most important thing is that it is a successful kit, and that is down to us."

Fellow midfielder Lee Cook added: "I always like it when the new kit comes out, and this one is really smart.

"They've brought the red bit back, and the badge is now on the side which looks really good. The whole kit is a lot better."

The new home jersey retains the traditional hoops in reflex blue and white, but this year, the Lotto Sport Italia logo is positioned on the left side of the jersey, with the QPR Club Crest situated on the right. The new Gulf Air logo is once again placed within the blue hoops, matching the signage around Loftus Road.queens park rangers 10-11 lotto home kit

Created by Lotto's Research and Development Centre in close co-operation with Queens Park Rangers Football Club, the new team uniforms are the right fusion of designs characterising the Club in the past and present, integrating the Club crest.

The First Team kit features emphasis on the collar which is characterised by a triangle under the neck-line indicating the centre of the jersey. The colours chosen for this home jersey are the traditional QPR colours: white and reflex blue. The sleeves are characterised by contrast inserts which creates an ideal location for the Lotto logo.

The shirt has a fitted shape fit and is made of Poly Double Mesh 10, an extremely lightweight, breathable elasticated fabric that ensures maximum comfort and the least amount of fatigue during play.

The shorts are in the colour variant white and reflex blue. As well as the Lotto logos on the side, the team crest stands out in a reduced and more proportioned size than on the shirt.

big shorts!

i've said it before, they should get rid off those iron on looto with the og and just have the badge embroidered onto it. would add a quality touch. the idea wasn't too bad, just think they stuffed it up with the big red badges all over it.

Great to see the red trim back! Just need the Guinness advert to bring back the eighties big time!

a 2/5 kit
+ It's good the reintroduction of red trims between the stripes like in '85
But overall the shirt is not so good
- I don't like the first hoop, interrupted, that seems relegated to the role of sponsor frame.
- Why not a blue hoop at the end of the sleeves?
- And I still don't like the new crest, and I qould at least replace the ball under the crown with the former QPR crest.

yeah, thats the thing that lets down most lotto kits, but in all other respects, Lotto are making great kits, the ones for Bahia, Coritiba and Atletico Mineiro this year have been great, and this one is not bad, the red pinstripes look classy, and the white sleeves look good too. Just wish there was one lotto logo on the shirt and on the shorts.

Nice job with the Lextra 3d crest but there isn't much there to write home about really. Those Lotto sleeve logos are getting boring now.

why is the sponsor on the blue? Would it not make more sense to move it done one hoop onto the white?
