i know QPR have done this before, but it's just so similar to the home shirt it's almost pointless. Still, it does look nice. If i were a rangers fan i'd probably get it.

Probably the best of their three kits, but as has been said, pretty pointless - the home and away shirts are pretty comprehensive in avoiding clashes with other teams

No clashes down the pub though. People here are already talking about buying it.

The Rs have used green and white hoops before due to specific, rare clashes. Wycombe's home shirt comes to mind - since their dark and light blue quarters clashed with both home and away a few seasons back. This third kit doesn't seem to be necessary for clashing - guess they just wanted to make a few bob off it.

Oh and QPR wore green and white hoops in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries.

Hail hail

Smart, and it's good to see the hoops go all the way around and not broken-up

"In stylish green and white, QPR's hooped tradition lives on" - what tradition???
As already said - pointless
BUt take that in Scottish scenario - club is called Rangers and they wear Green and white hoops :)

"What tradition?"

The tradition of them spending much of their early history wearing green and white hoops (and for a spell, stripes).

way better than celtics kit. not as many hoops, and not thesame putrid green :) and agreeing with Tim1902, we did play in green and white in the begining. if only the away kit had red and black hoops, then we'd have the set of all three :\ still, could wear it against palace...

Celtic's kit is traditionally meant to have several narrow hoops and its 'putrid' green colour and imo its nicer anyway. I hate the way lotto stick those big red logos on the shoulders - wouldnt be as bad if they were green just like the rest of the kit

That new crest is absolutely H-I-D-E-O-U-S. Not a big fan of this jersey either. They'll probably wear it one or two times and that's it. Pointless.

I don't think Lotto are interested in changing the red in their logo. I'm sure they're well aware that it clashes with a lot of the strips they supply but regard it as part of their brand in the same way that three stripes imposes the adidas brand on other clubs.

It's up to the clubs themselves whether they put up with it. Macron have adapted their logo to Leeds United's sensitivities (and to good taste). It is possible. The clubs just have to show some balls - or find another supplier.

South American clubs do - Coritiba, Bahia and San Lorenzo all have lotto change the colours of the logo from that of city rivals, and those are the best kits they make. Personally, it ruins a lot of the strips they make, the huge logos. the 100 years kits for Coritiba were the best lotto ever made.
On the kit, the new crest and the lotto logos ruin a rather nice shirt.

It's basically going back to one of our early kits and is just a money spinner. We were actually the first team to wear green and white hoops in Britain, 9 years before Celtic and 100 years before Yeovil. We've done it before and it's sold ok, a bit pointless though.
PS: Our new crest is not popular.

Actually Hibernian wore green and white hoops in 1876. So they were first.

This colour (green), isn't that of Pete Doherty after a big party? Or after a QPR match?

needs to be an easily visable kit for the QPR defenders to try and hopelessly pick up their forwards with Warnock's hoofball 'total football'

What is the point of this shirt when it looks like the home shirt. Is it for cup games? Perhaps it is for their european campaign....
