Stade Rennais 10/11 Puma Home and Third Kits

These are the new Stade Rennais home and third shirts from Puma for the 2010/11 Ligue 1 season.

Stade Rennais, or Rennes, today launched their new kits at the club training grounds. The white away shirt from last year will be reprised as the away shirt.

The home shirt is predominantly red with a black trim as it traditional to Rennes shirts, the shirt introduces a fold over collar with a ermine-spot on the underside of the back of it, a symbol greatly associated with Brittany. The sponsor 'Samsic' remains on the front of the shirt for the 4th season in a row.

The third shirt is an all black number, with a red trim in the same style as the supposed new Tottenham Hotspurs shirt. The ermine-spot also features on the back of the collar here too. The shorts and socks are both black with a red trim and appear to be the same as the home kit's.

That sponsor isn't quite big enough for my liking.

Love 'em both to be quite honest, though it may be just the colors.

These aren't terrible, but I don't like them very much. I prefer the old half-and-half design that they used to have on the home shirt. That was cool. The home collar is very stylish, but it also looks kinda funny, like those sleazy French guys who pop their collars at le discothèque. The stripes on the third kit are a good idea, but the stupid triangle beneath the collar ruins it.

I like both shirts! I prefer the black one, that's very nice! BUT the sponsor logo has to be way more decent.

on the black one... thats not a v-collar, right? hard to see because its black, but it looks like a round collar with a triangle patch sewn beneath. anyone else see what i'm seeing? i like it personally.

the black one managed to be original without getting over-the-top. i like it.

about the home shirt... i can't say the same. the collar and the black details on the waist and on the sleeve are just awful.
