rochdale 10-11 carbrini football shirts

Rochdale AFC revealed their new 10/11 Home shirt, and announced a brand new Shirt Sponsorship deal for season 2010 - 2011

The new season will see Carbrini sponsor the home shirts again and GETTHELABEL.COM be the away shirt sponsors. GETTHELABEL.COM will also feature on the back of the home shirts and shorts and the JD Sports sponsorship will continue on the away shorts and back of shirts.

The sponsorship is a further extension of the relationship with JD Sports and their support of the Club and the development of their exciting new brand GETTHELABEL.COM.

The new " Twist " shirt has been developed exclusively for the Club and features a lightweight fabric designed for comfort and performance. The Blue/Black colour scheme has been retained and the design is clean cut and modern.

Iain Johnstone, Sales & Marketing Manager stated " The relationship with JD has developed over 18 months now and following their first season as kit suppliers they were keen to increase their investment in the Club and become our shirt sponsors in our first season in League One. The dual branding is an exciting concept and one which both of us are keen to develop together ".

The 'Twist' Football Shirt

The 'Twist' Football Shirt is an intelligent design that allows the shirt to work with the movement of your body.

At the very first stage of development we took movement into account as well as performance. The main focus of the shirt design is the upper torso twisting from right to left as you run. The side seams of the shirt have been designed to flow with this movement in mind so the athlete can feel comfortable while the shirt works with him rather than against him.

Lighter weight mesh panels have been placed in areas of the shirt where movement is at is greatest, the underarm and lower shoulder, we have also added a small inset of this mesh fabric at the front and back hem for greater flexibility at the hips when running.

Though the mesh gives greater flexibility it also gives the player greater ventilation to keep the body cooler and fresh whilst playing.

The Twist is designed for the professional football player and Carbrini are proud to develop and produce this technical product for Rochdale AFC.

If the one on the right is the away kit, it's highly superfluous. When would it be worn?

Surely a 3rd kit will need to be put into production as the team wouldn't be able to wear either of the above for the trips to Sheff Wed/Oldham/Colchester etc........

Very strange choice for the away shirt

How about a white 3rd kit.
That could give them the option of a fourth kit then...

They had the same colours last year and got by all right.

Lovely home kit.

Yet another Carbrini sponsored team. They are taking over.

I seen these kits, the home one is actually darker and dont contrast too much, it's almost on the same level as Chelski last season..

If Twist was developed for Rochdale, why did AFC Bournemouth release this kit at the end of last season? lol...

They've only just developed the twist style shirt for this season and they have just applied for a patent so how could ballmouth have had it last season? LOL

Surely going to need a 3rd shirt, home shirt is nice but don't understand why the away is so similar in colour.

away kit is the same as last year's, just the sponsor has changed - it looks stupid with that great red slab on the front, and it's on the back too. pre season last year we played everton and wore an all white strip and the shirt was resurrected when we played chester (or macclesfield-can't remember which now) away, and why this shirt isn't used more often is a mystery to me. when we played bury away last year we wore all purple and they had that disgusting chocolate and sky blue shirt on - it was near enough impossible to tell the difference from the stands
