What is that symbol on their shirt? Is that a sponsor, or something else? It's pretty cool if I don't say so myself.

It's the sponsor logo of TAIF (ТАИФ in Russian) an investment company based in Kazan.

The logo is a 'winged leopard' something which is a symbol of Tatarstan, where Kazan is.

Well, having a 'climate control' shirt in Russian Premier League seems to be more than neccessary...

... and don't you think that the sponsor's logo deserves to be the club crest and the club crest seems an sponsor's logo?

dropped from Nike to Umbro?

I think they should get Adidas or something.

wait they get to change their kit for the 2nd half of the champions league season?

Russian League is played during the summer months because of the harsher climate.

It kicks off in March this year so they are allowed to change kits as are other summer league nations if they would still be competing in European competition.

Yes, old template maybe, but this is the best-looking template from Umbro + nice colour + discreet sponsors = very nice shirt

this is not the newer 'tailored by umbro' templates from umbro. example of those would be england. check out how the umbro logo differs on this kit. and england's

Even if it's old, at least it's Umbro. They should have a tailored design though.

Rubin Kazan's 09-10 Home Kit is beautiful - great colour in Maroon, nice logo and clean yet unique. Shame they could butcher a good thing going.

Nah sorry
Russian champions and they get an old umbro template...thats just not right. They deserve recognition from umbro. Its very similar to that story of wolfsburg...german champions, and get that bloody repetitive template that the likes of derby and plymouth are using. It would feel like an insult if i was a supporter of rubin tbh

Unpopular team

Their stadium is never full unless some big club is playing against them (like Barcelona, Inter or Dinamo Moscow)

So srsly just no one cares what their kit`s about

Ur stadium (30k capacity) is never full. Just accept it.

I'd said it sucks for the team that got championship twice in a row and is the only football club of the city. Can't wait till sponsors become bored with you.
