Adidas unveiled the Russia national team home kit for 2010 to 2012 at the Marriott Grand Hotel in Moscow’s Pavlovsky Hall. The presentation marked the start of a new cycle for the national side under the German manufacturer.
The adidas shirt is predominantly deep red with gold details, including the Adidas logo, three shoulder stripes and sleeve trims. Across the front run horizontal tonal bands featuring an ornate pattern inspired by traditional Russian motifs, adding cultural reference to the design. The national crest sits on the left chest with the double-headed eagle embroidered in gold thread, symbolising the Russian Federation. The back of the collar carries “Россия” lettering.
The shirt is produced using Adidas ClimaCool fabric technology to manage ventilation and moisture during play. It was worn throughout qualification and friendly matches leading up to UEFA Euro 2012. Matching shorts and socks completed the home kit, maintaining the same colour palette of red and gold.
