St.Patrick's Athletic FC in conjunction with kit partners UMBRO are delighted to announce the launch of the new St.Pats Away Kit for the 2010/11 season. The new kit will be worn when there is a kit clash in away games in all League and Cup ties for the remainder of the 2010 season and through the first half of 2011. The kit goes on sale on August 12th.

The new "Tailored by Umbro kit" launches in the Club Store and at the FAI/UMBRO stores on Westmoreland Street and Suffolk Street in Dublin on Thursday 12th of August. For supporters convenience online orders can be placed from Thursday 5th August at The FAISHOP.

The new Dark Navy & Sky Jersey features an embossed St Pats Crest around the embroidered club crest. The shirt also has the Irish flag featured on the back neck. The high performance "skin" material features a moisture management coating which helps keep the athlete and supporter alike cool and dry. The shorts will be Dark Navy with Sky side panels and the kit is finished off with Sky Blue Sox.

Commenting on the kit, Jonathan Courtenay Umbro Irelands Director of Football said

"We are delighted to be involved with the announcement of this new tailored by Umbro Pats kit today, The kit looks stunning, it has an authentic football look to it while integrating many modern features such as performance material and embossing. I fully understand that the fans have been eager to get their hands on both the home and away kits this season and an unavoidable sponsor change did delay the usually smooth process. Production times are consistent regardless of the club involved; however as mentioned a change of sponsor can have a significant time effect on the process. We expect this jersey to fly off the shelves so best of luck grabbing yours on August 12th".

Hmm. Not really a "tailored" kit, is it? Elements of last season's Hull and Sunderland shirts. Nice enough though.
