Really pushed the boat out with this one Nike...

A white T-Shirt. WOW

Having said that, it's lazy but classy.

Players from the first World Cups, would be so disappointed

to know that in the future the football uniforms would still be

so plain as in 1930.

out of ideas for a 21st century uniform.. SO WHAT CAN WE

EXPECT IN 2022 ANOTHER WHITE BASIC JERSEY? When

are there going to be nice futuristic uniforms for their own

time without copying what has already been done in the

past???!

I wouldn't have thought they'd give a toss.

It is a very plain kit mind.

It's pretty dull indeed.
I like the new home shirt better; it even has a design! (the cross, that is):

I guess a table cloth or Nascar flag would be more original.

Don't be a sore troll because your team didn't make it in. I'm sure they'll make it to Poland/Ukraine where the sea of tablecloths will give at least one or 2 unfortunate on-lookers a seizure.

Well, home jersey is way better, and the white cross on red background is traditional,on Serbia coat of arms and on footbal federation crest.
That is however most of nike that we could expect for this year, unfortunately. It could be worse

Good kit. Simple and effective. No problems about the white.
The away shirt is used a few times by Serbia national team.

Interesting tracksuit too.

Just how a football shirt should look like, plain and simple, not overdone with design. I like it, a few red marks and stripes on a white jersey, looks clean and nice.

Serbia's nickname is the White Eagles (Beli Orlovi), and so they traditionally go with an away all-white kit.

i love the home-shirt, but this is just boring.
i like white shirts very much, but if there were a little gold application anywhere, just a small line, it would look a lot better.

As a Serb, I don't like it much. Number would be better with "blue" color not "red" and away shirt is too simple. For the home shirt, it's kind a strange to be honest, coz we had blue shirt for the last 50 yrs and white shorts and now red one with white cross hm...strange, looks like Denmark or Swiss not Serbia. We want blue shirts back please....

As a ''serb'' you should know that we have red shirt with blue shorts and white socks because our flage is red blue white .
And there is no more yugoslavija so no more blue shirts!!!
lets make that clear

There is a fine line between looking "retro" and just looking "outdated". Nike often makes boring, unimaginative kits under the guise of 'going back in time'.

It's 2010 for funk's sake! There should be some difference between what's worn now and the rags they wore before World War 2! No one wants to go back to the over-the-top designs of the early 90's, but we should expect more from a world cup kit than a white T-Shirt I could buy for $2. Get a clue Nike.

@amsterdam020
As a Serb I know that blue shirt does nothing to do with yugoslavia. Because Serbian basketball team still has blue tops as well voleyball team. Blue tops looks much better to me then red ones. So what if our flag is red blue and white...just imagine Italy, Germany in their national flag colors, it would be ridiculous. Azzuri in red-white and green..hm...

So you think it was coincidence that yugoslavija had a blue shirt and that it had nothing to do with the flag. the blue shirts are history. What we have now is unique no one has this combination, now when they see red blue white they know its serbia. And thats the way its supposed to be we should be recognized as serbia.

You should know that basketball kits are all blue with red and white trims, not blue shirts and white shorts...But this are football kits that are supposed to be tricolore.Red blue & white. All we can agree or disagree is about design of the kit itself,(it could be better,no doubt)but not the colors.

great shirt. love the simpleness of it. very classy. it's so plain that it is a beauty.

p.s the voleyball and basket-bal team should change to red shirts.

the bleu is in your flag but the bleu shirts is know for Yugo. yugo is dead and thank goodness for this. we need to get rid of the bleu shirt for all your sports national teams

lots of hate is detected Sima. lots of hate. Keep it to your self please. no one asked your 2 cents about your racist opinions. i am fed up with the hate. Serbs did bad things to Croats and Muslims, Muslims did bad things to Croats and Serbs, Croats did bad things to Serbs and Muslims. all sides have blood on their hands form the war. it was a bad war. we could of all separated on friendly terms very easily. do you honestly thing the west wanted us to separate on friendly terms. Do you really thing they had nothing to do with this war. do you thing they cared about all the human loss. Do you know who is charge, who is the boss in Balkan area. It’s certainly not us. The west is charge. They finally got control of the Balkans. This was planned. the soviets collapsed and there where nobody in their way anymore. this war was planned many many years before it happened. So enough of this hate on all sides. please comment on the shirts and in whether you think it’s nice, descent, mediocre or plain ugly

I think its partly nikes fault it is Serbias fault because they can't design a decent federation logo, this one look so retarded evan someone with an IQ samler than 10 could design it better. The color should be red without stupid crosses. They should bring back the Sebian double eagle. But when i see who is sitting in the federation I think this one hits the nail. I still think Serbia should wear a pink jersey the reason is simple

There is no hate, it is the cruel reality. Serbia is a very poor country and folks can not afford to buy an original jersey. Evan if this jersey would coast 10€ it would be still to expensive for this crap. I really like the Russian, Croatian, English, German, Argentina, Brazil kit. They simply look great in terms of design and federation logos or coat of arms.

The same people that where leading the yugo football federation are now in charge of fss, what can you expect from such experts(SVE JE ISTO SAMO NJEGE NEMA, ODNOSNO JOS JE GORE) For Serbia it would be maybe better to be still yugoslavia because majority of serbs would rather live in titos yugoslavia insted of todays serbia. They forgot that the extreme poverty of some republics where the reason why the country broke apart in 1991. The croats and slovenians achived so much(i don't mean sport results) that wouldn't be possible in yugoslavia and they look forward and not back like the serbs.

Get a life guys. u still live in communist time, if you think red color is our color. So what if our flag is red blue and white. I love Serbia more then I love my self, but red color looks ugly. @amsterdam, do you still think people would know straight away it's Serbia, when they see red blue and white, come on man, give me a break...Serbia is not Brazil or Argantina, we change our name every year and so...and we still not sure about our color wheater is white like (white eagles) or red blue and white...Spain use to have almost the same tops in 1990's world cup and also Chile in 1998...so think again if you think people would say it's Serbia straight away. I don't want to discuss with you any more, coz you ar Serb and we should respect each other...let just support our team in South Africa.

the only thing i agree is that we should support our team together. but you also have to agree that europ has seen our good qualification for the WC and that the have seen us as serbia. And now we can establish our name even more on the WC because we have a seriously good team that can be able to go to the KO round. The rest we will see if we do good they wil recognize. pozdrav

It's sad how easily satisfied some people are. Either that or they're living proof that mass marketing works wonders.

I mean, If a plain white T-shirt is "classy", I guess I should wear my Haines undershirt for job interviews!

Adidas this year has done a great job of blending tradition with modernity. The French, German and Argentina kits are all updated versions of classic designs without looking like some rag from 1930. Nike has only come close to this with the Brazil away shirt. Their problem is either laziness or lack of creativity. The whole 'retro' gimmick is just an excuse.

When I look the Serbian kit I need som energy drink other wise I feel .

The serbian jersey is not popular , no one will buy it only serbs(gastarbajters mostly, and maybe some hardcore football kit collector. The first jerseys where a win those with the withe eagle and the shild ont the back and golden numbers. Now we have this medicore, dull, plain boring shirts for someone a classy shirt( it looks bad on the picture in nature its thousend times uglyer) Just compere this shirt with the new Spanish (red furia) and the new English kit in terms of design.

Stvarno užašno! Običan beli dres bez trunke kreativnosti i dizajna.

The final home kit is going to be simply the opposite of away kit. Red with white details on the sleeves with no cross over the chests. Idea of putting that cross came from the national coat of arms and if you look carefully they did the same with the Slovenian. They put the line which represents Triglav which is also located on their "coat of arms" on the flag. So that is the only reason I don't get offended eith that. And real serb knows that it has no any connection with Swiss or anything else

SIma, please refrain from posting here anymore.

Stick to posting about Bosnian/Croatian tops and your World Cup jerseys. Oh yeah, I forgot...

Regarding the white top - dull and boring.

The red one however looks interesting. True, it does resemble the Norwegian/Danish flag, but the Serbia crest is red with a white cross... And after the World Cup, everyone will recognise it as the Serbian top!
