This is the new look Sheffield United home football shirt made by Macron.
The long-awaited home shirts, as modelled by midfielder Nick Montgomery, will be shortly available to fans.
The design sees a return to the popular slightly thinner red and white stripes on the front and the back. The shirts feature a closed V-neck without a collar, white panelling under the arms, red and white stripes on the sleeves with black trim and an improved sponsor's logo.
Embroidered on the back of the Macron designed shirt, just below the neck line, is the word Blades.
Operations Manager Emma Wylie said: "The shirt has been a long time coming. We are disappointed for our fans that the kit will be going on sale later than wished for, but a number of factors in the last few months have caused issues for our supplier.
"The shirt has a modern look around the neck and features on the front seven rather than five visible stripes which continue on the back - a feature regularly highlighted by the fans as a must have in feedback."
Thanks to Matthew and Marcus

Say, does anyone else find this site either loads slowly or sometimes not at all?
as for the top - i hate the big space for the sponsor. stripes/hoops should never be broken for a sponsor
The only thing that lets the shirt down in my opinion is the width/depth of the white hoop for the sponsors logo. If this is slightly narrower, it would be perfect. However, i understand that this is to make the sponsor more visible. Which, at the end of the day, if you're paying money to have your company's name on the shirt, you want it to be seen.
Other than that, i think it's a brilliant shirt. Traditional, and unfussy
The design isn't even that different to the last one, why can't they keep a shirt for more than one year like other teams. People are getting sick and tired of forking out money every season. The last time we kept a shirt for more than one season was 6 years ago!
They've changed so much over the years United. They don't care about the fans just money!
