sheffield united 10-11 macron third shirt

This is Sheffield United's new 10/11 third football shirt made by Macron. It will be formally launched at the club's home match against Burnley on Saturday (16th October).

To mark the launch of the all grey kit with lime green trimming, there will be an introductory weekend offer of £5 off for shirts bought in the club's Superstore on Saturday and Sunday.

The kit, a required option to the club's first and second kits, will go on sale on Saturday at the Superstore which also will be open from 10am-2pm on Sunday giving fans extra time to claim £5 off the 3rd kit Prices for the shirt, outside the introductory weekend offer, are £40 adult and £30 junior shirts.

Meanwhile, the club is launching a shirt amnesty from 25th October for 2 weeks. Bring in an old Blades shirt (any condition) to qualify to buy a 2010/11 home shirt for £25 adults or £20 juniors. Shirts handed in will be donated to a third world charity.

Dear God, that is hideous. Possibly my two least favourite kit colours combined into one awful kit.

It looks more like a training sweater or something. Awful as an actual playing kit but could work as a training/warmup shirt.

the lime green looks horrible, but adding to it just adds up to an absolute disappointment

What is meant by "a required option to the club's first and second kits"? Required by who? The FA? The Football League? A clash of kits? Or just the clubs' marketing department? Sorry Blades fans, but it's a shit kit & a shit excuse.

Old man jumper meets cyclist reflector outfit.

Notice that the sponsor is so embarrassed by it that they've cut the logo from the promotional photo.
