Slavia Prague 10/11 Umbro Kits

Here are the new Slavia Prague kits for the 2010/11 Czech Gambrinus Liga, produced by Umbro.

Slavia presented their new kits earlier today at their Synot Tip Arena better known as Eden.

Radek Sionko, Umbro Sales Manager described the kits and details that can be found around them."The home jerseys are based on the rich history of Slavia, so we chose a retro style. We returned to a collar and also to buttons, which were used in Slavic motifs. We used modern materials and technology. We tried to include many details such as a big star, which is a simplified sign of Slavia. The words Slavia in conjunction with the star are located inside the collar."

"I would like to draw attention to the identification triangle on the sides of the ventilation panels, which has a description that this is the home jersey shirt of Slavia. The shorts were an extension and delivery of a retro look, reminiscent of Pepi Bican, see if the guys will score them like him.“ Said the Deputy chief supplier of sports equipment.

"Also on the jersey for the away games, we tried to use darker colours as a contrast, and decided on navy and turquoise, and of course we put on the Slavia star. We think this is the right way, which we released in its design. We believe that a new set of players bring good luck, "concluded the presentation of the jerseys by Radek Sionko.

The new jerseys will be inaugurated in the presence of our players and put on sale before the first home match against Mlada Boleslav.

The sponsors overwhelm an otherwise classy set of kits. Also, I don't know why it needs to say "Slavia Home Jersey" as you'd probably know what it is when you're wearing it.

If you're being paid to model a new kit, try not to have your hair cover almost all the upper detail.

Well, that sponsor(s) destroys the whole kit. I like the style of the shirts. The collar on the home one is awesome. The details are great...but this sponsor is just awefull!

Well, the girls are very nice! BUT also the girls would look even better, if they wouldn't have to wear these sponsors caps...

I'd tap both of them...

You'd "tap" them, would you? With terminology like that it's clear you've never "tapped" a woman in your sad little life. In fact, I seriously doubt you've even spoken to one.

It is obvious the clubs that model their new kits with female models get it, while the clubs that parade their new kits on their players do not. Just seeing those kits make me want to buy one, seriously, as well as get one for the wife.

On a more serious note, while Umbro's owners, Nike, don't seem to care anymore about what their kits look like, Umbro certainly does and most of their kits look great and traditional. Maybe that is Nike's strategy.

Lovely kits (home one anyway), lovely design, ruined by overabundant sponsors, and to be honest the models too. Those close-ups looking down their shirt are more than a bit tacky, and like the commenter above pointed out, the model on the left has her hair covering the badges. With the hats it makes it look like they work at McDonalds or somewhere. Beautiful kits, badly presented.

Teams seem to like having chicks model their kits, which is fine but at least have a player wear it too so we can see how it fits.

Ugly kit from top to bottom. Plastered with shape and sponsors all over. Umbro could do better.
