southend united 10-11 nike kits

Southend United is getting ready to launch two new kits for the upcoming season and defender Johnny Herd is one player who is suitably impressed.

The colour of the home shirt will be navy and the design is called the Brazil, which coincidentally will be exactly the same design of shirt that the Brazilian team will be wearing at this summer's World Cup.

The away kit is team red in colour and Blues' left-back Herd is hoping for a big season wearing the new designs in League Two.

"I really like both shirts," he admitted.

"The away kit is different this season and the home kit has the same outline as the Brazil shirt, so I'm impressed.

"It's going to be a big season for us and hopefully, I can get a full season under my belt.

"I think that will help me and I'm pleased that my contract has been extended at the club for another year.

"We have to look to bounce back and I'm looking forward to helping the club start the season well and getting ourselves straight back into League One."

The navy home shirt will be available from the Southend United Club Shop on Friday June 25th, while the away strip will be on sale on Friday July 30th.

Which player are you talking about? The player in the home shirt, or the completely different player in the away?

well well well, as usual southend have a plan dark blue shirt with a dash of white on it, and a red and white away shirt, its the same every season time after time, and the only thing nike change are their templates. They need an innovative new away shirt not just the same colour ever season. Nike are the most boring and awful shirt producers.

southends away shirt was yellow and blue last season, so how is it a red away shirt time after time?

Clever one here...

Lets have a pink home shirt next season, and an orange away shirt.

Navy blue is the traditional colour of the kit so its not gonna be changed is it.

As for the away kits always begin red? the post above shows your cluelessness.

To be honest southend united fans, your in league 2 next season, so don't expect a personalized kit designed by nike. You've got to except the fact that your a crap team and your going to get slightly poor kits.

Look v. cheap. Has the neck on the blue one been pulled out of shape already or are they meant to be like that?

That Rind inversion on the brattle of the kneck looks great, but the white side jiblets not so much, i'd give this kit out of ten.

southend was a championship club not so long ago , i know we are not good enough for a personal kit , doing that would be stupid , but saying we are shit is just something a person watches foreign football (english premier league ) , i watch my local football team , and if your local team is a big name then well done and good luck to your team
