Brilliant top. This makes up for the terrible effort adidas made on the home top.

Best Adidas so far. Beautiful and elegant at the same time. Back to the original away colours. Excelent combination of dark blue with the colours of the flag.....simply beautiful!

i know they won the euro, germany deserved it more, and yea just becuse they won the euro doesnt mean there going to win the world cup.

Just implying that they were outstanding next to Germany at the Euro. If Germany deserved it more is up to a personal opinion. I and I presume many others consider Spain a serious World Cup title contender and many people will agree with me that they will reach at least the quarter finals.

the kit looks best with those white undershirts. nice. but i still dont understand why they have to separate the lines. just so they can put a tiny ugly adidas logo? the 3 lines are enough self advertising. for that im giving it a 4/5

I think they do that for the badge(s), which look nicer that way than over the three stripes

Nike take note: THIS is how you update a classic design. Nike would have put a swoosh on a blue T-shirt and called it "retro"!

-1 # 2010-03-09 08:19
Which is what it would be. If adidas would want to go retro they would need to start using the trefoil logo and stripes that are not broken.

and adidas would just put three stipes on a blue t-shirt and and call it "retro". face it mate adidas is no better than nike with this shirt. its the same damn thing. its just a tshirt with adidas lines on it. nothing special. its not a update its a downgrade by adidas. if anything nike's kit are alittle more unique than adidas. check you're self mate

Very nice.
It's great seeing all the kits on players instead of bad resolution images or over-inflated torsos (Nike). Most of the kits I thought would look like dung appear to be respectable. Can't wait for Mexico vs. South Africa...

Such glowing comments for an avarage drab kit. Watched some highlight videos of Spanish players Torres, Villa, Iniesta and Xavi earlier this week and they definitely have the talent to go all the way but unfortunately for them they can have mental breakdowns and are susceptible to fast, direct, physical counter attack style teams like the USA. Their defenders are overated and rely on Casillas too much. They won't make the final.

You're kidding? Pique and Puyol were the last season the best defenders by large in CL and in La Liga. Albiol and Sergio Ramos are at least as goods as the Barça ones...

Very nice colour combination spoilt by the stupid extra piece of fabric on the sleeves. But by and large a very stylish kit

If you're referring to the break in the stripes, it's to accomodate the World Cup logo patch on one sleeve, and the FIFA Fair Play patch on the other.

Trivia Question: The new Spanish jersey has the Spanish Football Association badge with the year 1909 on it while the one they worn in 2008 Euro has the year 1913 on it? Anyone know why the discrepancy? I checked on the web the association was found in 1913.
