Sunderland AFC has unveiled its new Umbro away strip for the 2010-11 Barclays Premier League season.
The kit will be available from Thursday 29th July in official club stores at the Stadium of Light and Debenhams, Sunderland and The Galleries, Washington.
Direct from the Tailored by Umbro collection - the same range as England's bespoke strips for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa - the kit carries the name of the club's new main sponsors, tombola.
Bold, confident colours and a clean, smart design are the focus of the new-look kit. The shirt, modelled by star striker Darren Bent, is predominantly stone in colour and features a burgundy trim on the shaped crew neck neck-line, shoulders and side panels.

The shorts feature the reverse colourway - predominantly burgundy with a stone trim and the kit is complemented with stone socks featuring a burgundy turnover.
Made from Umbro's patented performance fabric, the new kit is crafted for comfort using the Football Tailoring principles, while the unique ergonomic design means that it moves with the player during the game, ensuring that Sunderland's players look smart and are able to perform at the highest level.
Darren Bent wore the new kit at a recent photoshoot; "It's a fantastic kit, he said. "The colours are really modern and fresh-looking and I'm sure our fans will love it as much as I do. It feels really good on too, as a player comfort and fit are really important and the tailored by Umbro collection has really nailed it. I just can't wait for pre-season to start now so I can wear it for real."
Lesley Callaghan, SAFC's marketing and commercial director, added: "Umbro's new designs are very impressive and we are confident that they will be popular with Sunderland fans for the new season."
Thanks to Dave and John

Does line up a 3rd choice shirt. Just being a sceptic.
Yes, it has the same colour shirt and shorts but that doesn't make it "just the same" - why do you people have to bring everything bak to Arsenal?
what on earth do you mean by "you people"?
Tit
Ha 'way the lads...
Nice colours but bad use. I give you the Universitario Kit, Now that was class with similar colours.
Pisses me off that umbro are branding everything as "tailored by" when the majority of the kits are not made with the Poly/Cotton mix or fitted.
looks like a 3rd kit will rip the fans off..
thats the plan all along
P.S. "Tombola" is also an Italian game very similar to the American's Bingo
Sunderland will do well this year, Stadium of Light was by far my best away trip last season. It's easy to say a club is a sleeping giant but you can certainly put this club into this catagory!! Huge stadium, always packed out it's just a shame they finished thirteenth or whatever it was, there fans deserve so much better!
I think the kits ok, nice and simple maybe a. Bit to plain.
Will def buy though.
What does this even mean you absolute tool??!!
This kit is quality for a quality club who have a fantastic home and away support! What where the Tics average home gate this season?
Always had a soft spot for Sunderland, probs cos they have a man u connection but always thought they would be a great club to support!
Well, it might be tailored, but not for the bloke who's wearing it.
We will catch you this year! Toon toon!!
Stupid Geordies!! When will you learn?
It's got to the point where umbro are no longer really putting the effort, clearly not a proper tailored kit and the sponsor looks comical.
Still i bet the morons will fork out £40-50 for it.
This is premiership shit mate! Top club but you won't know anything about that supporting Boro! Small club in a small town!
What's wrong with it? It's one of the best away kits we have had for a while. It clearly is taliored and the sponsor looks better than Boylesports did! Boylesports had a big daft symbol on it and was completley the wrong colour to any of our shirts. This sponsor is clean and simple and the same colour to the shirt. It looks quality, don't know what the problem is?
Cheers bud!
You always get a Newcastle fan on here when there is something about Sunderland (obsessed). The kit is miles better than your generic Puma kit I have seen on here! Shite team? Isn't Sunderland the top dogs up there now? I will enjoy the first game of the season when you horrible lot come visit the Theatre of Dreams! Welcome back lads!!
Mr.Alexander?
Totally agree with that one mate!
nothing special, ive seen better and worse
...saying sponsors ruin shirts is becoming a cliché, but a giant Tombola?? What a mess boys. I think thats the online bingo website my Auntie Doris uses.
Sunderland are a big club, this is what happens when you talk about a big club, people comment! Not the fans fault they have been managed poorley, they are still massive. You wait and see, there time will come!
It's easily the best shirt in the tailored range! You are obviously a Geordie to think that! What's not to like abou? Go and comment on Newcastle horrible generic Puma kits instead of commenting on our brilliant tailored range of kits!! Bye bye!!
That's cos it stone as it says in the description and not white! I think it looks cool!
Thanks a million buddy!
Sarcastic censored!
but impossible to take serious because of the sponser...
TOMBOLA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
