swansea city 10-11 umbro home kit

Swansea City skipper Garry Monk and deputy Alan Tate have started the countdown to the new Championship campaign by unveiling the club's new home kit for season 2010-11.

The Swans will once again sport a strip designed by leading international kit manufacturers UMBRO and backed by global internet gaming company 32Red as front of shirt sponsors.

The club canvassed supporters over the design of the new kit and answered calls to return to an all-white strip.

"It looks and feels good,'' declared Garry Monk. "I know the players will like it. It's plain and simple, yet classy.''

Alan Tate also gave the new kit the thumbs up.

"All the fans I've spoken to have been saying we should go back to an all-white kit,'' he said. "So I'm sure they'll be pleased with this one.

"The only problem is, me and Garry will have to go and get a tan now to look good in it!''

The new home and away strip is available from Wednesday in the Liberty Stadium club shop (10am -7pm), Debenhams (Swansea) and online.

shirts are priced at £40 and kids £30 (short-sleeve only); shorts are £16 and £13; and socks £8 and £6.

UMBRO will also be the official supplier of all Swans' training kit next season, which is available now.

The fit on the players doesn't look like it's tailored

As far as all white kits go, this is far better than what Real Madrid have had for many seasons...

A rare example of a betting firm's logo actually matching a shirt design!

Much better than last season! Glad they've gone back to the white shorts (the proper colour).

Stylish kit. Swans have just released a new away kit on SCFC.net. All black except for socks which are white and black. Really nice.

They need to be baggy to accommodate Trundles rather large midriff.

Hasn't he signed a sponsorship deal with Bentos?

Here's hoping he's down the City Ground trying our shirts on!
