their old emblem was just the flag anyhow, right?

The emblem is the crescent moon and the star, turkish and islamic symbol. It rescues the old times.

Moon and Star not islamic sembol for turkish flag. Red = Marty Blood , moon and star reflection in the blood.

Which national football kit is the only one in the world?

Which national football team had worn same style kit from 1923 till 1994?

Which national football team has a flag on the shirt that is symbolizing their people who had died while serving the Turkish state?

Which style of flag had been using since 14th Century?

The answer is Turkey...

and that's why this kit came back. We dont need a team batch on the left of the shirt. Our flag is symbolizing us which is enough. We dont need a different style of kits like other teams have. We need one style kit which should be boring like Ajax or Celtic one. But this is the one this is the classic.

Maybe we are not good team as Spain or England. Maybe this kit is so horrible but for us this is telling so many things for Turkish people.

Hope this kit will never change again....

@ emresport
Finally someone who understands that certain teams have certain traditions that other teams can't understand as they have no real morals that they believe their club must sticl by. For example, I am a Celtic fan. When Fergus McCann came in and saved us, he also tried to change Celtic badge from a four-leaf clover to a thistle. The fans went mental. That is tradition and also loyalty. Which is also what you get with Ajax and Turkey.

By far nikes kits have been better in every way than adidas kits. Nikes kits maybe boring or simple but each kit catches each countries identity. Turkey has their proud flag we Americans have our 1950 England beating kit throwback and Slovenia has their mountain design. If you ask me Nike has been more unique than adidas In thinkin ways to represent a countrythrough kits

As Emre said,

maybe many won't like it, but for the turks its a holy design.

Its our classic design.

This one looks more like a retro kit and not a official one :)

So its all OK when the English rugby team has the cross as a design for the shirt but when Turkey have the Crescent and the Star it becomes a problem. Well guess what all you European ppl, that is our flag and we eill wear it on our chest with pride, wether you like it or not.

by the way, 3 turkish (international) players are christian! so don't talk bullshit.

i bet, you'd be glad if germany (and their ww2-partners) would wear the "swastika" symbol... wich is actually eastern-asian for good luck
