FC Twente 10/11 Diadora Kits

Here are the new shirts for current Dutch Eredivisie champions FC Twente for the new 2010/11 season, manufactured by Diadora.

Twente from Enschende, caused a major upset last season when under the guidance of now departed manager Steve McClaren won the Dutch league title and qualifying automatically for the Champions League.

The home kit has a traditional all red look, with the shirt containing a harlequin style pattern subtly in a darker shade of red. Inside some of the diamonds there is the Twente 'prancing horse' emblem that is also located inside the logo. The folded collar with quite a wide open neck gives the shirt a bit of a classic feel to it also.

Twente's away shirt has two tones of blue, but contains the same pattern as the home, only the harlequins stand out a lot more on the light blue background.

Finally the third kit is black with a red trim in a slightly different style to the home, with it's exposed seems. The collar remains the same as the home and away but there is an extra gold colour in the V of the neck and also on the cuffs.

All shirts are sponsored by Arke, the Dutch brand name for what British users will know as Thomson Airways. Twente also have the honour of wearing a gold Eredivisie patch for the coming season, denoting their championship victory.

Thanks to FCTwente65, Lars, Jasper and Zekkie

What a brilliant and constructive criticism..have you thought of joining the 606 forum?.

They all look very nice from where I'm sitting. The harlequin thing is a bit of a steal from Marseille's a couple of seasons back but still works well on these, particularly on the blue one.

Really like the away top its just the HUGE sponsor that Twente use that takes a bit away from the shirts.

Excellent kits RUINED BY A MASSIVE SPONSOR LOGO. Have Twente no respect for their shirt? Looks like an Arke t-shirt rather than an FC Twente one.

wow! just wow! These kits are amazing. I wouldn't expect this from Diadora after the last seasons' crappy shirts, but these are really cool. That collar, that quality, they've really made it!

Diadora holland is run by the people who used to run Umbro holland. They always made a different Ajax shirt unlike adidas does now.

It's a exclusive design. Twente Fans should be proud having an unique shirt instead of the regular adidas puma nike shi(r)t

go reds!

Gorgeous shirts, but....

Who the hell wrote this article? A 13-year old on YouTube? There are several grammatical errors:
"Inside some of the diamond their is the Twente 'prancing horse' emblem..."
and
"...with it's exposed seems."

Yikes. Proofread, please.

In the Champions League, the Tui 'smile' will be near ' Arke' like this: http://www.depers.nl/UserFiles/Image/2009/200908/20090804/ANP-10517569.jpg

It's not my type of shirts. The harlekan sucks and destroy the old-school look they had last season.
