1. FC Union Berlin 10/11 Do You Football Kits

Here are the new Union Berlin shirts for the 2010/11 2. Bundesliga season, manufactured by Do You Football.

The new Union kit has been on display to fans over the past couple of weeks but without the fans actually knowing which will be their new kit. If that doesn't make sense let me explain it to you. Do You Football have had a website dedicated to the new kit with many different designs for fans to see and speculate on, and every couple of days one was removed until the final design was revealed.

The final two kits came down to the shirt you see before you and another which was one red half and one checkered half, they have certainly gone for the more conservative option with this.

The shirt is primarily red with four white lines running down it in an odd pattern that actually represents the famous TV tower in Berlin or 'Berliner Fernsehturm'. Another detail on the shirt is the collar detail of 'Eisern Union' which literally translates as 'Iron Union' signifying the solidity of the club. The shirt comes as quite a change after they played last season in white.

The away shirt is olive green with a slight fade into a lighter shade of white, along with this are two images of a bear emblazoned on the lower left of the shirt, the bear which can be found in Union's logo is a very prominent symbol of the city of Berlin.

The third shirt is the away kit from the previous season should the team wish to use it. It is a very original, metalic style kit playing on the 'Eisern Union' motto, even including faux-bolts on the shoulders and number fonts.

why do all these new kit designers/manufacturers always have rubbish logos that spoil their shirts?

Yeah the Do You kits are really good, I love 'em. My favorite is the away kit, the olive color is really cool plus the Berlin bear looks hella sick. I might just order me one of those.

i think looks-wise, do you puts some great packages together. build quality, though, is something i'm iffy on. bought the yellow union berlin top from a couple seasons ago, and while i've probably worn it five times tops, the do you logo is already washing off, and the patch for the auto dealership that sponsored them was falling off the sleeve when i got it to begin with. i wasn't much of a fan of the material either, but it looked class.

as for these, huge fan of the home and away, but not at all of the third.
